Step out of your busy life and into this secluded cottage nestled in the foothills of the Sapphire and Bitterroot Mountains of the Rockies. We are noted as the #1 summer climate in the USA with our warm days and cool nights.
Stunning sunsets drape the skies as you relax on the deck to the soothing sounds of the creek. Beautiful country gardens surround our very private cottage which borders 9000 acres of elk preserve. Wildlife abounds with wild turkeys, deer, elk, eagle, hawk, osprey, cranes as well as a host of other animals which can be spotted throughout the year. In the evenings one can often hear a chorus of elk or coyote off in the distance.
In 1805, Lewis and Clark camped on the banks of "Scattering Creek" now known as the Burnt Fork. Relax in the hammock, cast your line in our creek or in the world-class Bitterroot River. Spend quiet days around the cottage or visit some of the National Parks, Natural Hot Springs, Wildlife Preserves, lakes, rivers, caves, ghost towns, or engage in one of the numerous outdoor sports. Enjoy a vacation of a lifetime! 'Katrina Housing' |
