  ahh the warm breeze in my hair..This is what you get when you stay here! Also-a comphy place to stay,beautifull condos,beautiful grounds & flowers,friendly people,mini store (with wine & beer),great pizza,internet,walking paths,pool,beach,ocean, and so much more! A nice walk down the beach will keep you entertained for sure..bars & food! Renting a car is best but you can always call a taxi for outings. pleanty of places to go! I had a Great time and will go back. I just love bringing home a Tan!! And as for Allen he will get you to your condo,answer any questions,and will help you be at Home!!

  From the start the operation was very quick, simple and easy. All the questions answered rapidly. This clean and nice little condo is the quietest place you would want, even with the parking close by. No noise from roads, neighbours discrete and polite, we really enjoyed the place. Those little amenities coming in are appreciated. By the way, you need a car and get the smallest want you'll find out quick enough. By the way went you rent the car, take pictures of all the little scratches(and there's usually a lot of them) when you pick it up, background and witness reference preferable, you might need them when you bring the car back. Pool is close and by the beach. Perfect setting, beautiful waves. Lots of space, again ultra quiet, no food, no junk, security on the spot. We've toured the beaches, it's the best one. The best ever quality/price I'm sure you will find. French grocery near by, like being in France, if you want american food, go to the Dutch(more american than Dutch) side. Great French wines for cheap, no really! If like us you like peace and quiet, AVOID Tuesday evenings in Grand Case, however the rest of the time you've got great restaurants. Tuesday evenings is "local go out and jam" kind of evening. More noise than Carnaval like atmosphere to my taste, and traffic getting there is absurd! Not worth the inconvenience. Go to Taïtu for good food with a twist of local taste, it's very close by. For more upper and fancier type there's Sol y Luna, excellent food but one of the more expansive of the top 10 best restaurants in Grand Case. We've tried 4 of the top 5 and they were all very good but sincerely, a bit overrated. Actually all the French menu were almost all the same. There's a little pizzeria where the lobby entrance used to be, that will be your solution to the "I don't feel like cooking or going out tonight". Peace, quiet and good taste sums it all!   We really enjoyed staying at this place. It used to be a large resort and at some point the units were sold off individually, so now it's like a friendly little community. Allen was very helpful and answered all our questions. We, too, appreciated the extra goodies in the fridge and the charming decor. As far as phones are concerned, we rented a phone from Sharon in Simpson Bay (www.queenofsxm.com) which was cheap and convenient and gives you a number in advance so people can call you from home. There are car rental companies that offer cell phones, too. There is no wi-fi at the apartment that we could access, which was a little disappointing. We had a wonderful experience, but I feel I should mention there are some cockroaches, not in huge numbers. Maybe this is the same all over St. Martin, or maybe it's a problem that comes and goes. Not sure how it's handled by the property owners or the complex. The apartment was spotless, otherwise. The pool is fabulous and the landscaping around the complex is gorgeous. If you like to snorkel, take the ferry from Cul de Sac to Ilet Pinel - it's terrific and very close to Orient Bay. We also enjoyed the hike to the north of Cul de Sac, where there are amazing views and lots of these amazing Turks Turban cactuses. You can take the trail to a lovely secluded beach which was a little rough the day we were there, but was delightful nonetheless. Enjoy your stay!

  This Mont Vernon vacation rental far exceeded our expectations. The room is spacious with a sitting area and a dining table. It is really beautiful inside with great pictures and art work. The balcony is very spacious too. The manager, Allen, was extremely friendly and spent lots of time describing the island and what we could do as well as best tips for getting around. Allen added several welcoming gifts for us, which was a very pleasant surprise. The apartment is stocked full of things (chairs, cooler, cookware, glassware, books, guides). The location was fantastic! The actual location of the apartment is a convenient walk from the parking lot, but without the noise. The apartment is a short walk to the pool and the beach. The pool rests up to the beach, which is great. Orient Beach is the best beach on the island. You are a short walk from several beach cabanas / bars. The complex is very relaxing and safe. At night, security guards walk around to ensure safety even though it is already in a really safe area. Mont Vernon is really close to Grand Case, which has great restaurants and entertainment. What an amazing trip.

  What a fabulous property! This unit was wonderful. It is very clean, bright and cheerful and is exactly as depicted in the photos. Allen was so helpful in suggesting places to eat as well as fun things to do. He is delightful and was so willing to make our stay memorable right from the start. The welcome goodies hit the spot after a long day of travel. While there was no ocean view the views of the hills and tennis courts are really pleasant. The pool was just a short walk away and in addition to being stunning in its own right, it overlooks the ocean and the entire Orient Bay. The grounds keepers were ever vigilant keeping the property neat and tidy. The property's new policy of cleaning the beach was an added bonus. I highly recommend this property and am already planning my next trip.

  This is a lovely unit and very well fitted out for cooking, relaxing and sleeping on a very comfortable bed. The pool was great as was walking on the beach. Allen, the manager, was extremely helpful as we arrived at 10:30 pm and he had stocked coffee, milk, snacks and drinks for us which was greatly appreciated at that late hour and the following morning. There is a huge supermarket very near by which had an incredible selection of items both food and otherwise. We wished there had been a telephone as it was impossible to make reservations without actually going to the restaurant during the day and also no way to summon help if there was a need. We did not realize that there would be no phone and had not made arrangements to have our cell phone used out of the USA. The only negative was the beach in front of the whole property. It used to be lovely in years past but It definitely needed to be raked as there were large piles of seagrass all along the length of the property until one reached the hotel sections which were neatly raked daily. Hopefully the condo association will take care of that issue in the future. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone wishing to be on the beach or enjoying the pool either in the sun or shade. We would have preferred a nicer view from the balcony as we looked over the parking lot but it did afford an opportunity to people watch.

  This was a wonderful condo to rent. Lots of coziness. We had a fantastic time. The toaster oven and microwave came in handy. Condo was well maintained. I would recommend this property to friends. Rent a car and see the island. Can walk to beach also.
