Had a wonderful time at this little get a way. We endured hurricane Irene with no problem. We were even allowed to move in a day early, so that we would not have to travel during the hurricane. We lost power for a few hours but that was minor to us. The lake was beautiful for swimming. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We would love to come again.

The lake house in the winter is a wonderful place to hang out and play. It is close to both Ragged Mountain and Sunapee for great family skiing trips. Our kids always had fun skating or playing hockey on the lake right outside the house or even hiking out to the island or ice fishing. The house is also close to the the Vermont border too so that you can venture off to Vermont for some great skiing as well. This area of NH has much to offer if you are willing to explore. Great resturants and shopping. The house itself is very clean and well equiped and the owners keep it plowed well. Linda was wonderful to work with and was quick to solve any problems should something arise. We highly recommend this house for winter fun.

My family has been to this cottage many times and we consider this our summer vacation spot. We always enjoy ourselves immensely and as soon as we leave we count down the months until we come back. The lake is incredible with great sunsets and even better sunrises. The boats are a plus and allows "the boys" to do some of the best fishing ever. We always take a trip out to the island for a campfire and smores. It is a relaxing locaton with plenty of ammenities that are modern. It sleeps 6 comfortably has a great kitchen, beautiful porch to read a book, and a wood stove on chilly nights. My family and I wish we had more time to go up during the fall/winter to enjoy the foliage and sking nearby. My family enjoys the New Hampshire lake house and counts down til we go there again.

I have stayed at this cottage twice now and will go back again. It is immaculate and has everything you need from a nicely equipped kitchen to pillows, blankets, water "equipment", games, books, woodburning stove and wood. It has the charm of a small lake cottage with ample room to spread out. It truly accomodates 6 easily and comfortably, and an added 2 would not be a problem. A great place for kids. The location is easy to get to and has wonderful access to a variety of activities and places to see. The pond is large enough to enjoy, but small and quiet, except for the occassional call of a loon. You will also find that the rental process is easy and very friendly!

This is our favorite place for a restful week. Quiet, on a pristine, huge pond, away from the hustle and bustle of our busy life. Beautiful vacation home with 3 bedrooms and a sun-room with a fold out bed. This place has everything we needed on the property and In less than five minutes we were at stores, hiking, antiquing, restaurants, Quack Shack ice cream parlor, boating and fishing on Lake Sunapee. Excellent for photographing birds, family and purple sunsets. I make a scrapbook of great pictures from every visit and even put put pictures on tee-shirts for the kids to remember our wonderful times. We enjoyed the two minute canoe and paddle boat rides to the small island right in front of the cabin and loved exploring there. The sky is so clear there that we now take charts to identify stars and constellations. We have been there with many different ages of children and they all love this area.
