Great Mexican neighborhood! You can shop for all of your basic needs within a three-block radius: fresh fruits, veggies, fresh squeezed orange juice, flowers, meat and fish markets. Antonio the seamstress is across the street, Carlos the artist is two blocks away, Cha Cha Cha and El Rinconcito are excellent neighborhood restaurants! Each Sunday the oldest San Miguel street market comes to life and is only 4 blocks away.
Apartments are interesting with character; Colonial arches, skylights, Mexican folk art, interesting art from from other parts of the world, fully equipped kitchens, wonderful outdoor spaces, good lighting, traditional Mexican furniture, and colorful tiled bathrooms. If you are interested in renting for a period longer than three months rents are negotiable.
Apartment #1 -- $850.00 per month -- Two bedrooms, skylight, kitchen, dining room area seats 8 - 10 people comfortably, one bedroom with double bed and one with two twin beds, entrance reveals a courtyard with fountain, lime tree, pomegranite tree, and many blossoming potted plants. Kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, stove, coffee maker and blender. Meals can be served on beautiful talavera plates and many locally made serving dishes. Living room with cable television is decorated with textiles from around the world, office space has high speed internet connection.
Apartment #2 -- $700.00 per month -- One bedroom with king size bed, kitchen, large open space with living room and office including computer with high speed internet. Windows face east and south. Great sunlight! Textiles, Mexican art, many bright colors. Outdoor space with plants for relaxation.
Apartment #3 -- $700.00 per month -- One bedroom with king size bed, amazing light and lots of windows, small kitchen area, living room, bathroom with tiled tub, spiral staircase leads to private rooftop with wonderful views and more outdoor space.
All rents include electricity, hot water, high speed wireless internet connection, cable T.V., vonage phone for calls to U.S. and Canada, housekeeping services three days per-week.
