You are invited to come and relax at Fox Hill Cabin, our beautiful 2100 square foot, mountain cabin, converted from an executive home to a vacation rental for your pleasure. Here you can wade the clear, cold mountain stream, enjoy the natural environment of this area, snooze or read on the swing or rocking chairs on the shady front porch, immerse yourself in the hot tub on the back deck, or listen to the soothing waters of the backyard stream.

Your dinner can be prepared in the fabulous kitchen or outdoor grill and enjoyed on the privacy of the huge outdoor side deck while absorbing the wildlife sounds of the mountain evenings! Afterward, you can sit inside by the stone fireplace, while enjoying a movie on the new 42" wide screen High Definition TV.

Fox Hill Cabin can sleep from 8 to 12. The two master suites make it perfect for two families.

The main floor master bedroom includes a queen bed, private bath with a shower and an adjoining sitting room. The sitting room has French doors giving it private access to the front porch, and a queen hide-a bed facing the bay window, bookshelves and TV.

Upstairs, past the loft with it's comfy futon, the other master bedroom’s new king size bed is under a vaulted ceiling of knotty pine with a wonderful soaking tub plus a shower in its private bath.

On the lower level, next to the game room, the third bedroom can sleep four with two twin beds plus a bunk bed. There is also a hide-a bed in the living room.

At Fox Hill Cabin, we include FREE highspeed WI-FI INTERNET ACCESS, satellite HDTV with DVD/CD/VCR player and surround sound in the living room, standard satellite TV and DVD in sitting room, a phone with answering machine, washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, kitchen utensils and linens. A 5 person Hot Tub is on the back deck overlooking the stream for total relaxation in privacy.

The lower level game room includes a new Pool Table that also can be converted to a Ping Pong Table plus a TV for DVDs or your game machine. A few steps outside the game room is a path that leads past the hammock and down to the stream.

Fox Hill Cabin is secluded in the southern Smoky Mountains, yet only two miles from the Robbinsville grocery stores, restaurants and shopping. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is just to the north with scenic drives to Fontana Lake and Dam, Cades Cove and the Ocanuluftee Visitor Center just minutes away. A short drive brings you to Cherokee where you can visit Indian museums, go shopping for native crafts, enjoy the outdoor drama "Unto These Hills" or visit the casinos. A scenic drive beyond Cherokee takes you to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, TN.

Nearby is the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad for an old time scenic ride or dinner train, the Cheoah, Nantahala or Tuckasegee Rivers for up to Class IV+ whitewater rafting or milder "rafting with the kids", three horseback riding stables and the Tsali Recreation Area where you can go mountain biking in the Nantahala National Forest.

For the hiker, the Appalachian Trail is only 8 miles away at Stecoah Gap. From there you can go south to Nantahala Gorge or north to Clingman's Dome, the highest point on the AT in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

For the boaters and fisherman, Santeetlah Lake offers fishing, canoeing, kayaking and picnicking just two miles away on a lake that has a shoreline that is 80% undeveloped. A wide variety of fish including smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, walleye, crappie, bream and lake trout can be caught. A marina offers fuel, bait, tackle, boat rentals, equipment rentals, boat launching, and dock space.

For those that enjoy driving or cycling on challenging roads, the famous Tail of the Dragon at Deal's Gap is just 18 miles north, the scenic Cherohala Skyway starts just two miles to the west and you can jump on the southern end of the famous Blue Ridge Parkway in less than an hour.

We really enjoyed the new pool table and of course, the hot tub. We rode to Deals Gap and the Tail of the Dragon, the Cherohala Skyway, Hellbender 28 and the Foothills parkway. When ont on our bikes, we "Duckied the Nanny" All in all, it was a teriffic time!

What a cozy place to stay on a cold winter weekend. Thanks for providing all the comforts of home: lots of blankets, pillows, and even a Christmas tree. Loved the background sounds of nature -- creek, cows, and cute little dogs.

This was a great cabin to spend Thanksgiving in. We rode the Dragon's Tail 5 times and travelled all over from Gatlinburg to Highlands. I am sure that this will not be our last stay.

What an awesome cabin you have! We have enjoyed this place so much! Plenty of space and such a nice deck... Nicely decorated as well. As if we got the true mountain experience as opposed to staying in hotels.

We found the cabin so comfortable to see and it had everything we could need. While here we were able to se and do so many things. We visited Joyce Kilmer National Forest, Fontana Dam, and Fontana Village. Went to Cherokee and saw the Oconaluftte Indian Village and then to Clingman's Dome (What a climb, but what a view!) and found Rufus Morgan Waterfall. As you can see, we squeezed a lot of things into our time here. Most of all we enjoyed spending some quiet time on the porch enjoying our family and friends. Our time here has reinforced our belief that God created a beautiful Earth for us to enjoy. I took so many pictures and I look forward to sharing them when we get home. We drove a little on the Tail of the Dragon ... Wow!

Great Cabin! Fishing on the Snowbird Creek was great. NOC Ducks (big raft) are the way to go on the "Nanny". Very Peaceful. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings.
