Casa Panorama is the perfect place to put your feet up and relax in contemporary, cowboy-inspired comfort. An end unit, this very private, spacious Casa faces North and East. With a generous open plan, it captures the Million Dollar Catalina Mountain views from the living room, kitchen, both bedrooms (especially your master suite) and the tranquil private courtyard. With its serene Foothills location, we are certain you will enjoy this peaceful, panoramic hideaway!
We welcome you to enjoy this special patio home, where the large windows bring the outdoors inside; where you wake to majestic views of Sabino Canyon and Bear Canyon; where you enjoy privacy and no noise other than nature - hummingbirds, doves, finches and quails - all for your enjoyment; where you can totally relax and yet be just 1/4 mile from an outstanding bakery, a super pizzeria and a classic Mexican take-out.
Completely renovated in 2013, everything is new from custom cabinetry to stainless steel kitchen appliances to the spa-like bathrooms. The walled courtyard features a contemporary 8' gas fire pit surrounded with sofa couches for outdoor living comfort, a bbq grill, and a separate dining area. Other wonderful features: new washer/dryer; located directly across the neighborhood 'street' from the community pool and jacuzzi.
Spring & the Desert Bloom: The desert in its haunting beauty regales in the Spring, showering the vista with abundant green foliage and brightly colored flowers. The dazzling transformation is all the more impressive because you recall what once appeared dry and sparse. The riot of wildflower beauty is loudest in March & April. While the Saguaro night blooming flowers are famed, try your hand at finding the more than three dozen other wildflowers that are home in the Sonoran desert.
Summer & No Humidity!: Who goes to Tucson in the Summer you ask? Anyone who lives on the humid East Coast, South and Midwest. We call it the SECRET SEASON. It is easy to get on the golf course, Sabino Canyon is quiet, Mt Lemmon provides a beautiful hike. Sure the temperature is in the high 90's but it is a pleasant, dry heat.
Start your day with a hike in Sabino or a round of golf or a game of tennis. Afterward, enjoy brunch on the shaded patio. Head indoors to take an afternoon nap, read a book or enjoy the myriad of galleries. As the evening cools down, it's time for a fabulous dinner!
Who wouldn't consider this vacation?!

Explore Kartchner Caverns in southeastern AZ. One of the few living caverns in the West with extensive and impressive caves. Talk to artists in Tubac. Be inspired by Mission San Xavier del Bac. Travel internationally ... visit Nogales!
The bedrooms are located on opposite ends of the townhome, giving these private spaces a comfortable sense of seclusion.
From both bedrooms: Spectacular views of the Mountains when you wake to sounds of birds. You'll enjoy a wonderful night sleep on the firm premium mattresses with soft pillow-top; high-thread count cotton sheets; down pillows; and European percale duvet. The super large master suite also has large closets fitted with shelves....moreless
Renovated in 2013, the bathrooms have a calm 'spa-like' comfort with double sinks, tumbled limestone tile and dark wood tones. Both bathrooms feature over-sized, absorbent bath towels....moreless
As a professional interior decorator, my mother's goal for Casa Panorama is to create a comfortable, usable home that has somewhat minimalist clean lines and modern style but also a warm style that pays homage to the Southwest settlers. You’ll find a sparkling square ice-drop chandelier juxtaposed with a hand-tooled saddle sculpture; a precise New York style sofa (that by the way is completely comfy to curl up on or to lounge back) matched with the worn wood & iron coffee table (go ahead, put your feet on it); nap in the oversize, overstuffed chair and ottoman. Casa Panorama is so much better than a presidential suite in a hotel ... it's all yours with no interruptions!...moreless

About the owner: I'm Theresa and I manage this home for my mother, Sheila. She decided to buy in Tucson because my three brothers, two of their wives and I graduated from U of A many years ago. We now have busy lives with our own families across the country. Tucson is what all of us share as common. It is a place filled with fond memories. One day, Sheila says, we may find a common time to get together for a family reunion.
The home in Tucson is really quite special. My mother is a highly-sought interior designer with clients throughout the US. She has made Casa Panorama feel particularly comfortable and very much like home. For many years, she and my father vacationed in Tucson, and her main 'gripe' was that the homes they rented all felt like hotel rooms or were over-the-top 'southwest' cheesy. My folks always paid top dollar for their rentals but the furnishings always seemed like left-overs or cheap college dorm rooms. Since we are from Arizona originally, my mother knew just how to integrate the fine qualities of European relais-et-chateaux with the essence of the southwest.
Why the Owner Chose Sabino Canyon: Casa Panorama has open living spaces, good flow and practical private spaces at opposite ends of the home. Located near Sabino Canyon in the Catalina Foothills, this end unit, single level townhouse has views to the North and East taking in Sabino Canyon, up close, and Bear Canyon, in the distance. The outside enclosed courtyard has a fabulous fire pit with sofa seating as well as a separate dining area: perfect for those perfect Tucson nights. The Casa is conveniently located near Sabino Canyon, golf, tennis and yoga; is only minutes to quality shops, restaurants and galleries; and, has the homey comfort of a well-established neighborhood with mature trees.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome: In addition to the luxury finishes, the self-catering Casa is complete with with all the necessary kitchen accoutrements, bath towels, beach towels, etc.. There is a supply of pantry items such as tea, sugar, salt n pepper and spices. To enhance your stay at the Casa, we provide environmentally sound soaps and lotions. The towels are large bath sheets and the bed linens are high thread count 100% cotton. Luxurious down pillows (hypo-allergenic options too) and linen duvets ensure a wonderful night’s sleep.
Our goal is to provide you a comfortable get-away ... a place that feels like your very own home!
