Casa Elegante is the perfect place to put your feet up and relax in contemporary, cowboy-inspired comfort. Facing North, the very private, spacious Casa is layered with indirect light ... creating an airy, peaceful hideaway. From your serene Foothills location, enjoy the Million Dollar Catalina Mountain views from the living room, your master suite and the tranquil backyard.
We welcome you to enjoy this special patio home, where the atriums bring the outdoors inside; pick lemons and oranges in season; wake to majestic views of Finger Rock and the Catalinas; enjoy total privacy and no noise other than nature; lush enclosed backyard filled with jasmine, ferns and rosemary, attracting hummingbirds, doves, finches and quails - all for your enjoyment; totally relax and yet be just 1/2 mile from an outstanding bakery, a super pizzeria and a classic Mexican take-out.
New kitchen, wood-burning fireplace, bbq grill, walls of glass, dbl garage, washer/dryer, close to community pool.
Spring & the Desert Bloom: The desert in its haunting beauty regales in the Spring, showering the vista with abundant green foliage and brightly colored flowers. The dazzling transformation is all the more impressive because you recall what once appeared dry and sparse. The riot of wildflower beauty is loudest in March & April. While the Saguaro night blooming flowers are famed, try your hand at finding the more than three dozen other wildflowers that are home in the Sonoran desert.
Summer & No Humidity!: Who goes to Tucson in the Summer you ask? Anyone who lives on the humid East Coast, South and Midwest. We call it the SECRET SEASON. It is easy to get on the golf course, Sabino Canyon is quiet, Mt Lemmon provides a beautiful hike. Sure the temperature is in the high 90's but it is a pleasant, dry heat.
Start your day with a hike in Sabino or a round of golf or a game of tennis. Afterward, enjoy brunch on the shaded patio. Head indoors to take an afternoon nap, read a book or enjoy the myriad of galleries. As the evening cools down, it's time for a fabulous dinner!

The pictures do not do justice to this home. Original artwork and inspired interior decor with warm touches make this the perfect home away from home. Everything is impeccably clean and convenient. The house has a green and airy feel due to the the atriums and generous back courtyard. Everywhere you look is serene and steeped in nature. The layout is open and feels very spacious yet the furniture choices are comfy and invite lounging. The bed was very comfortable and the view of the mountain---spectacular! Bathrooms (great Roman bath/shower) and kitchen are well lit, clean and up to date possessing all the amenities of home. We could have been happy staying home, in front of the fire or outdoors, reading , playing cards lingering over coffee or a glass of wine---which we did some. But we also hiked in Sabino Canyon everyday, came home and took a dip in the quiet, cool pool and then napped or enjoyed one of the wonderful local restaurants----Wildflower, North, ZenBurger to name a few. If you need a relaxing respite or a more active vacation and want something more upscale, this place is for you! PS: betterthancanyonranch! J.DavisOwner response: WOW! Thank you!! :-) As the first person (other than our family) to stay at the Casa, we are ecstatic that you loved it so much. The Casa is new for us, having purchased it in April 2011 as a vacation home for our family. We are so pleased to be able to share it with you - and that you appreciate the quality and ambience. So glad you had a fabulous time! Thank you! Theresa
