We stayed 6 weeks at this 3 bed 3 bath condo. It was clean, roomy, quiet and well equiped. The grounds were beautiful with 3 pools to chose from. The owners were approachable, informative and available by email or phone for any questions we had. We were a short walk from a marina and shopping center. A great place to stay for any length of time.

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

This was our first trip to Kona and I would not change a thing. It was exactly as shown in the photos and was immaculate. There were 3 couples that went and we all had our own bedroom and bathroom. We had our choice of the 3 pools and the landscape was so beautiful. We had a list of all the places we should visit and directions on how to get there that was very helpful. We were so glad that we also rented the van, which so so convienent as well as being immaculate inside. I would not have changed a thing and would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone that wants a wonderful getaway in Kona.

Owner response:Thanks for the nice review. We try to maintain our condo in the best possible condition. We go over every 6 months to check on it and do what ever needs to be done to keep in like new condition. We have very good maintenance people on site so if anything goes wrong that can't wait until our next trip we have it fix immediately. We have professional cleaning people that come in between guest and clean it. We have never had a complaint on the cleaning.

This rental was absolutely fantastic! It was perfect for our group of 6 (3 couples). 3 bedrooms and 3 baths lent for privacy when needed. The complex itself was beautiful....great location, the grounds, pools, BBQ areas and view were all spectacular. All the amenities and extras were wonderful. We were provided with beach towelsl, beach mats, beach chairs, sunscreen, boogie boards, snorkel gear, golf clubs and coolers for packing picnic lunches. The furnishings and appliances are top notch. The condo is clean and well kept, very up to date. Also the van rental is a great deal and then van is newer and in very good condition. The owner was very helpful and timely in answering our questions prior to arrival. I would recommend visiting Mauna Kea and Hapuna beach for boogie boarding. Great fish and chips at Quinns Almost by the Sea. Kona has much to see and I would recommend taking it as much as you can on the whole island. A beautiful place to vacation! I would highly recommend this rental and would definitely rent this property again when I return to Kona.

Paradise

We just returned from a spectacular vacation to Hawaii! The accommodations were even more than we were expecting. Very clean and well maintained and equipped with everything you could possibly need for your vacation. We chose this vacation home because of how spacious it was. We were a party of 3 couples so the three bedrooms/3 bathrooms worked out wonderfully! The view from the lanai was just gorgeous. A view overlooking the golf course with such lush green tropical plants and palm trees. The selection of pools (3 in total) was also a plus. We spent most of our time down by the ocean side pool because of the view and the sound of the crashing waves onto the rock. Spectacular view and beautiful sunsets. The location of this condo was perfect. Not far from shopping and dining and only a short drive to some of the most spectacular beaches along the west coast. We also rented Ray and Flo's van which was a bonus! This made getting around the island very easy. Ray was very easy to work with and communication was quick via email. Every question we had was answered thoroughly. I highly recommend these accommodations to anyone traveling to the Big Island. We definitely will look Ray and Flo up again if we take another vacation to Hawaii. Thanks Ray and Flo for making our vacation one that we will truly remember!

My wife and I have traveled alot in our retirement years and told each other after staying in some not so nice of accomodations that ours was not going to be that way. Some people buy a sail boat and travel the South Pacific, we just bought a condo where we like to return and made it special.

We selected this property on the advice of a friend who rented it on two prior visits. We were very happy! This place is BIG and well appointed. We found it as promised, very clean and well maintained. It was also extremely quiet. We were concerned about the A.C. charge but found we really only needed it one evening and after seeing the size of the place we now know it must take more then a few bucks to cool it down. The pools are pleasant, the grounds pristine. I enjoy cooking and found the kitchen well outfitted, not a blank slate like most condos. There were lots of beach paraphernalia too. Shopping and the beaches are a short drive along with plenty of restaurants for any tastes. Our large and frugal crowd enjoyed “Huggos” and “Quinn’s, Almost by the Sea”. We also enjoyed viewing the Manta Rays at the nearby Sheraton. I dealt with Ray and found him to be gracious and helpful – Thank you Ray and Flo!Jackie and Tom

Lovely condo. Very spacious and comfortable. Everything was in working order and very clean. Had lots of great beach stuff to use. The pools are great and the restauant on site was good as well. Wonderful place!

Just wanted to send you an e-mail telling you how much we enjoyed our stay at your condo. It was nicer than I even expected, and such a nice plance to call home for our 9 days in paradise. We woke up every morning with the birds and enjoyed watching the sunrise over the hills to the east from the lanai and went to sleep each night with fond memories from the day. My husband and I LOVED the king bed in the master bedroom!!! Very comfortable!

Just wanted to thank you for renting us your condo as our home away from home. We absolutlely loved it. Your picture was right on of the view from the bedroom lanai. The golf view lanai was my husbands favorite. We appreciated all the extra-esp. the beach chairs and laundry detergent. Loved the big bed and the ariness of the loft bedroom.

Cathy and I as well as Francis & Mike Morgan loved having the opportunity to stay at your condo at Kanaloa! The condo, grounds and area even more beautiful than we could have ever dreamed. Everything went well and we enjoyed the beauty of the bif island. We were very lucky to find such a beautiful condo at a well cared for and beautiful complex which was quite and secluded.
