Why the Owner Chose Whistler Townhomes
We originally thought we would purchase a condo and looked at several, but when we saw this townhouse, buying it instead was an easy decision. It has several amenities that are not usually available in a condo, such as a deck, direct outdoor access and a full size washer and dryer.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
Having a bike trail that starts near our townhouse and runs all of the way into town has been great. Our 14 year old and her friends can ride to the Hot Springs pool or go shoping in town without riding on the roads. Other benefits of our townhouse include having bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs away from the Kitchen and TV areas, a gas stove in the living area that operates off of a theromostat, and access to the free city bus service only feet away. Having a clubhouse facility with a heated ourdoor pool and outdoor hot tubs is also a plus.

Dan and Julie McCune: Julie and I first came to Colorado in 1983 when the Army stationed us in Colorado Spings. It was love at first sight. We decided almost immediately to make Colorado our home. We have two children, Katie and Mollie, both avid telemark skiers. When we are not in Steamboat, we are at our home in Golden, Colorado. Our favorite Colorado hobbies include XC skiing, biking, hiking, backpacking, flyfishing (Dan), and motorcyle touring.

This condo has to be the best deal in Steamboat! It was close and convenient to the slopes (either by bus or 5 minute drive to the Meadows Free Lot) and had everything we needed. The two levels made it great for our family of five. We've stayed a lot of places, and none have felt as spacious and comfortable as this. The hot tub was a great bonus...and we couldn't complain about the well equipped kitchen. Nothing was lacking (not even the much celebrated Steamboat POWDER!). It's not granite and glamour, but a fantastic place for a family to stay. We loved it!

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your townhome. We loved the location and well equipped kitchen. Had fun going to Fish Creek Falls & Alpine slides. We also enjoyyed shopping for half off shirts & sweatshirts. We loved Taphouse Sports Bar & Old Towne Pub. Great food & drinks. Used the pool and spa in the clubhouse. Had the place to ourselves :)

We had a great time in Steamboat this year--as we always do. Our tradional favorite activity remains the hike to Fish Creek Falls. This year we got great pictures of our 18 yr. old and 9 yr. old (he turned 9 on Sat., Aug 8) standing under a waterfall. This year we also played tennis, rode the Alpine Slide, shopped and tried to conquer the new climbing wall at the pool (Rec. Center pool). All in all, it was a great 3 day end to our 12 day summer vacation. We totally enjoyed the condo--glad we were able to work out our stay with you. Maybe again another time! Thanks.

Thanks Julie! We came for the Triple Crown Softball Tourn. tied 2 Lost 1 Won 2 and now were in the semi-finals! Everything was nice and clean! Supplies were great! Loved staying here!

Celebrating Katie's 21st Birthday--SLeeding yesterday afternoon, dinner at the Rio and lots of fun at the Condo. It snowed nice big flakes and the weather was nice for our visit to Strawberry Springs. It was a great weekend with a great group of people. Happy 21s Katie!

We had a wonderful time in Steamboat--We expecially loved the bus being so close and available to the ski area and downtown. Thank you for keeping this place so clean--that in itself was a big plus. We will be back. We really enjoyyed our weekend. Everythink was grand. Only one suggestion--You need a new couch.
