The large (6-8 people), vine-covered residence is surrounded by 21 ha (50 acres) of beautiful private grounds, which encompass a private stream (not fenced), trees and meadows, a swimming pool and stone terraces (30 square meters) with garden furniture. Guests who are interested in hiking, fishing, horse riding or visiting the Languedoc-Roussilion area, in particular the medieval Chateaux Cathars, will love this property as a starting point for a variety of excursions. Visits to the beach, as well as to the cities of Andorra, Barcelona, Carcassonne and Prades (which features the Festival Pablo Casals every summer) are all possible in day-trips! Visiting of the goat cheese farm is a wonderful experience as well as tasting the best wines from Cotes de Roussilion area. At 780 m altitude, but only one hour drive from the coast, summer temperatures are very pleasant and usually range from 25 to 30 degrees Celsius. A cool mountain breeze in the evenings offers full recovery even after a very hot day at the beach! Car access to the property is from the main road on a private 400 meter gravel road. Parking by the house. A grocery store, a restaurant, a pharmacy, tennis facilities and riding stables 8 km away,supermarkets 25 kilometers away.
