Dear Karen, I am SO glad we were finally able to get to St Thomas for a week instead of a few hours. It is a beautiful place, and even driving on the "wrong side" was fun. The eight of us want to let the world know that Bolongo Bay and your condo (and Andrew's) are the perfect places to explore the islands, play on the beaches, and relax all your cares away. (We spent loads of time in both of the units!) You have decorated a lovely island retreat and it made our stay even more wonderful. We're all back home, but dreaming of sunrises over the water and dinners in the soft breezes at Bolongo Bay. 'Til next time.... our heartfelt thanks! You know how sometimes you don't really know what you're going to get went you book "online"? Well... this vacation home exceeded our expectations. We agree with the previous January visitors, the pictures didn't show how roomy and how "right on the water" it is. (I see some pictures have since been added to convey that now.) We've been visiting St. Thomas since 1988. While many of the other island properties are in a steady and sad decline, this complex (and this unit) is in excellent repair. No bugs, well landscaped and exceptionally clean. The washer/dryer unit definitely allowed us to pack less and avoid those costly "checked bag" fees. We lacked for nothing. We cooked most of our meals in the well stocked kitchen. The previous guests even left a few "welcome" beverages in the fridge! (thank you!) So now we're back in the snow and thinking fondly of the sunrises on our breezy balcony and the evening beach entertainment down at Iggies. We'll definitely stay again. Our only mistake was going alone. It sleeps 6!! We're for sure having friends come with us next time!

Hi All, My wife & I as well as her cousin & her husband just returned from Bolongo Bay. The unit was better than I had expected. The pictures do not show the roominess of the condo. There was more than enough of room and storage area for all our items. The view was nice, but better yet was the constant breeze off the water day and night. We never needed the a/c. One other amenity was the lack of bugs in the unit! On the beach at night sand flies (no-see-ums) come out and bug repellant is necessary. We had none of that in the condo. It was high enough from the beach and the constant offshore breeze kept them away. Other than breakfast we took all meals out. We did eat mostly at Iggies & The Lobster Bar which had a large assortment of choices. The mushroom caps stuffed with crab meat in a special sauce was my favorite. Should we have desired to eat in, the kitchen was well supplied with stove, refridge, dishes, glasses, pots, etc. We did use the clothes washer & dryer as well as the abundant supply of towels, beach towels, etc. We did sign up and take the tours advertised at the Bolongo Beach Club at the other end of the beach. They are definatly worth looking into. Jim White

Thank you so much for letting us rent your condo, Karen. We couldn't have found a better location for the activities that went on with the wedding we attended. Nearly everything was within walking distance. We were so glad that Iggie's Beach Bar was on our beach. It provided the perfect atmosphere for the bachelor/bachelorette parties on Saturday, and the girls had a great time getting onstage to sing karaoke. Breakfast at the Lobster Grille was wonderful! We all had the Heavenly Days meal, and the portion size was just right. I wish my husband and I had more time to take in the SCUBA diving that was offered next to Iggie's. If we make it back down to St. Thomas, that's at the top of our list. I loved walking down our beach on the last day we were there just checking out the sea life. We saw sea urchins, snails, fish, and loads of plant life. St. Thomas truly has the clearest water I have ever seen! As for the condo itself, other than a few cracked floor/bathroom tiles, the place was great! The beds were very inviting, and the linens were comfortable. We were never without or felt anything was missing...except maybe a shot glass or two. :) We were so grateful that maintenance was able to get in and out when they came to fix the toilet. The view from your condo was spectacular, and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the balcony eating breakfast, reading, and watching it rain. Again, thank you so much, and if we ever plan another trip to St. Thomas, we hope that your condo will be available.

This was one of the best vacations... everything we needed was right there for us. We stooped off at Pueblo's on the way to the condo in the taxi and bought groceries for the week. After that Radiance or O'Neill (inquire at the Bolongo Resort where they park their van) took us wherever we wanted to go and they took such good care of us. We made meals as a family and ate overlooking the ocean. We went to sleep each night to the sound of waves and awoke every morning to the same waves and the sun rising outside our bedroom window. The girls slept in while we played tennis or went for a walk at the condos up the hill behind us. We'd return to the condo pool deck later in the afternoon to join others with rum drinks and cameras to watch the sun set over the water. Magical! We spent days at the Belongo Bay beach, exploring and climbing the rocks and swimming, went snorkling at other beaches around the island and shopping on Main Street. Also a day trip to St. John's. We met so many wonderful people during our stay- the neighbors, the bartenders at Mim's (who created drinks just for us which we named the Belongo Breeze- ask for it!), and all of the locals who saw to it that we would enjoy our Island stay all the more. Karen provided us with everything we'd need to have a memorable vacation. The condo is the perfect home away from home. Everything is neat and clean. The kitchen had what we needed to cook dinners and mix drinks. Didn't need to worry about a thing except what we wanted to do or where we wanted to go each day. Rich's favorite spot was reading on the balcony every morning while enjoying his coffee. The girls loved hanging out at Iggie's especially on Carnival night. Mim's is just the place for seafood (voted best on the Island)- get the mahi-mahi with orange rum sauce. Thank you! Thank you!! We can't wait to return! Alyssa and Rich and the girls

It was a great vacation to St. Thomas! The condo was perfect for my husband and I, three teens and 7 year old. We had enough space and loved sleeping to the sound of the ocean crashing on the rocks below us. Bolongo Beach was really fun on Carnival Night. We won a bottle of rum in a dance competition! SO MUCH FUN for the whole family! The condo was really comfortable and safe. The neighbors were friendly and offered us great advice on where to go for our daily adventures on the island. I strongly suggest you rent a car if you want to venture beyond the Bolongo Beach. Going to the downtown market place and many island beaches was great. We would stay at Karen's condo again for sure! She was very helpful and her place is BEACHY!

Hi Karen, Your condo is fantastic....The view, close by restaurants, pools, beach, etc., etc.. Plenty of activities or sit on the balcony and read a book. Sightseeing for the day on St. John is really fun. The duty free shopping at HavenSight is excellent; jewels, cameras, liquor-anything you can think of. When I become stressed at work I take myself back to the balcony. Thanks again, Ronnie Page

Dear Karen, What can I say but.......thank you! From the moment I opened the door I was awestruck-the view is absolutely breathtaking, the condo is so well appointed I never needed to look for anything! I began to smile the second I opened the door and did not stop until I had to leave. Going to sleep and waking up to the sounds of the ocean was a joy. I'll be back-my thanks to you again, Joanne

Sent: Tuesday, December 05, 2006 3:34 PM Subject: Great Time! Hi Karen, I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how much we enjoyed our Thanksgiving vacation in your condo, there in beautiful St. Thomas! Being able to not only see, but also to hear the ocean tide was so relaxing and incredibly beautiful. We actually met some people from Chicago at Iggie's while there. I spoke to them today and we are looking at perhaps trying to do it again next Thanksgiving and meet up with them there! They wanted me to ask you if you knew any of the other condo owners there at Watergate that they could call directly to check out availability and pricing for their family? We would of course want to stay at your place again, if it is available. Thanks in advance for any info that you can offer, and thanks again for working with us on the late check out time...greatly appreciated!!
