My family of 14 spent 3nights/4days at The Papa Bear Cabin(May 2012), it is absolutely WONDERFUL and BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Not one complaint!!!! Its very clean and well kept!!!!!! It fit all of us comfortable!!!!! It was enough space for us all to move around freely and each room having its own bathroom is AWESOME!!!! The beds are really comfortable!! I had mother/daughter time in the hot tub on the deck with my daughters at night, and it was relaxing peacful! Also sitting on the deck grilling was amazing!!!!! My brothers and nephew couldn't stay off the pool table, hahaha. The area is quiet and beautiful!! The Kroger's at the bottom of the mountain is the best!!!! It was also close to everything!! Lastly, The owner(Ms. Linda) was amazing helping in the planning stages, she was wonderful! her personal touches makes you feel special!!! I'd recommend this cabin to anyone!!!!!! You will love every ounce of it!!! :)

Spring Break

We had an excellent time at Papa Bear, I would recommend this cabin for family gatherings or multi families which we had staying with us. Cabin layout was perfect, enough room that we never got in each others way plus we all had our own bathrooms major plus!!! There was only one issue we had my husband and his family are big time pool players so having the pool table was nice just needs to be repaired, the bumper on one end was broken. That would be our only complaint. The cabin was beautiful, clean, well maintained and close enough to all the action yet private enough to rest & relax after our outings .The owner was awesome during the planning of our trip she made us feel at ease knowing if there was a problem we could count on her. Thank you so much!!

Great Family Christmas Gathering!

We just got back from staying a few days in the Papa Bear Cabin, wish the family could have stayed longer. The cabin was great for every age. The layout, having a bath in ea. bedroom made it very comfortable. The pool table being in the lower level allowed the kids to play games and be loud. The grand kids loved the hot tub & jacuzzi. I appreciated the convenient location of the cabin when making a run to Kroger's going to entertainment. Papa Bear's comfortable beds at night were welcomed! We have already recommended Papa Bear Cabin to friends. Thank you for offering a great cabin! Carla

Our family of 15 just spent a weekend at Papa Bear Lodge and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute! The cabin is beautiful and very clean. Everything we needed was there. We liked that it was close to the Parkway, so it didn't take long to get to the shopping areas, Dollywood and the surrounding areas. Pigeon Forge is our favorite place to visit and we really enjoyed you sharing your home with us. Hope we can stay longer next time!

Wonderful visit

My husband, myself, and 4 other couples stayed at this cabin this past weekend. It is a lovely place and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We did not prepare any meals but everything you would need was there. All furniture is in great condition. We appreciated having our own bedroom and each their own bathroom. We had an extra BR so no one occupied the BR on the main level so this bath could be a "community" bathroom. We had a great time. Our only complaint was the cleanliness of the carpet throughout the cabin.

It is being installed in early November when we can go up again. We hope you'll come again soon - when we will have NEW carpet in place!

Very good vacation

There were 13 in our 3 generation family who stayed at PBL for a week. It was better than we had anticipated. The lodge was well equipped and clean, and was easily accessible to all we wanted to do.Some of us went to Dollywood,some went rafting, and others went horseback riding. Of course shopping also made the list. If we go back to Pigeon Forge we will definitely stay there again.

We had a group of six couples who stayed at Papa Bear Lodge in February 2011. The floor plan of six bedrooms and six private baths was perfect! The cabin is close to the parkway so very convenient to all the activities of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It is in a development of cabins so it is not very secluded, which wasn't an issue for us, but may be for some renters. Owner was great to work with for the rental. Highly recommend the Italian restaurant Dolce Uva in Gatlinburg - incredible food and fantastic wine selection!

Beautiful Cabin for Large Family

My husband and I, along with our 3 sons and their families stayed at Papa Bear from 9/25/10-9/28/10. We had an absolutely wonderful time even though it rained the whole trip. The large cabin with the hot tub and pool table gave us all something fun to do while staying indoors. It was the best "family time" we've had in a long time. No one wanted to leave. We definitely plan on staying at Papa Bear next year. Thanks, Linda for being so helpful and so accomodating. You're the best!

Thank you for the blessed opportunity to stay at Papa Bear Cabin. Our family had a wonderful time together. We especially enjoyed sitting outside on the screened in deck retelling stories of the past. Many new "treasured memories" have been formed from our time here together. It is absolutely beautiful here. The beauty of our Heavenly Father's creation shines ever so brightly here. You have a lovely home with everything anyone would possibly need. As I am writing this, I am listening to the wonderful and beautiful sounds of nature at night. I will miss these beautiful evenings and listening to the sounds of nature while sitting outside on the deck.

We recently stayed at Papa Bear Lodge and had a wonderful time and experience. The close proximity to attractions was a big plus for a large group. We could stay at Papa Bear and enjoy dinner together and family game night or could easily visit any attraction in just a few minutes.

Praise Him for the rising of the sun...God is great to be praised! We gathered here for a family vacation. Everything was wonderful, and the weather was perfect. However, beware of Mr. Racoon and Mr. Beaver. They love to wander at night. We will definitely come again!

Last September Bluefield Nazarene church Senior Adults stayed in your beautiful cabin. Everything was very beautiful and comfortable. We really enjoyed the spacious kitchen area and have fond memories of christian fellowship on the back porch. Thanks for the fond memories. Simply beautiful place.

Our group of 13 ladies had a glorious time amidst the beauty of God's creation in the Smokies. What a view! The trees are at their peak color and the weather was perfect.
