Our "Gorski Dworek" mountain residence, containing three houses, which are built in the original Zakopane style, constructed from big wooden logs ("plazy") under a roof made of hand crafted wooden shingles.
FACILITIES All three houses are located on a large (5000 square meter), quiet plot of land, right on top of the Gubalowka mountain ridge (1100 metres). A small surrounding pine forest ensures your privacy, without compromising the breathtaking views of the Tatra Mountains.
With hiking trails and ski slopes beginning right in front of our door step, this is at the same time also a great starting point for exploring Poland's world famous and beautiful Tatra region.
Horse drawn carriages or sledges allow for romantic excursions along the ridge and the many paths with limited traffic are also perfect for cyclists. Local food and beer can be tasted in a beautiful Tatra-style restaurant, a two minute walk from the residence.
The property is only 100 meters away from Zakopane's most modern six chair ski-lift (open in both summer and winter), providing opportunities for skiing and connecting Gorski Dworek with the center of Zakopane. Here you will find cozy restaurants, pubs with Tatra music and the special atmosphere of the renowned Krupowki street.
For those interested in Poland's cultural heritage, the city of CRACOW with its historical monuments and the famous "Rynek" market square makes a great day trip! Rafting excursions in the Pieniny and visits to the famous Wieliczka salt mine make for further fun and interesting day trip opportunities.
