This condo was everything advertised and more. The property manager was extremely helpful and went above and beyond the call of duty. It beat staying in a resort hands down. This was the best vacation we have ever had and we will be coming back. I would recommend this property to anyone.
Owner response:Thank you, Brenda. I am so glad that you had a great vacation and enjoyed your stay at our condo. We hope to see you back soon. Maria

The listing was exactly as described. We were blown away by the view and the location is perfect in Flamingo. The property was very clean and well maintained. One of our favorite things to do was to use the Flamingo Beach Resort facilities, especially the pool with a swim up bar. Being able to use the resort as part of our condo rent was a big bonus. We met a lot of nice people at the pool and enjoyed the amenities. The managers, Renee and Steve, were very attentive to our needs and were always there to answer questions about the area, restaurants, bus service, etc. The property owners answered all of our emails and were also very helpful. As we stayed for one month, this was all important to us. If you don't rent a car, eat at Marie's close by, good food and service. We also enjoyed the typical Costa Rican restaurants, called "sodas", which were right on Portrero Beach, a short walk away. They were Pleamar and Estero Azul restaurants. For top notch dining and atmosphere, try Papaya Restaurant located in the Hotel Conchal in Brasilito. A nice tour we took was the jungle river cruise in Palo Verde National Park. We would definitely recommend this condo and we can't wait to return.
Owner response:Irvin and Susan! Thank you very much for your kind review! We are so glad that you enjoy your stay at our condo. We are fortunate to have wonderful guests like you that are willing to take the time to post a review for future guests. It's folks like you that make renting our place so worth it. We are looking forward to your return next year. Pura Vida Victor and Maria

Just got home from a great vacation in Costa Rica with my husband and granddaughter. We spent 4 nights at your condo and truly enjoyed it. It gave the three of us plenty of room and we especially liked having 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and 3 TV's. The balcony was so nice and such a beautiful view overlooking the water and Flamingo Marina. The top floor was especially nice for the view. We never even used the pools at the condo but truly loved the pool and beach offered to us at the Flamingo Beach Resort. Renee set us up on a catamaran sail and snorkle which was a lot of fun. Marie's Restaurant was our favorite for breakfast and dinner. We look forward to coming back to your condo again. Much nicer than a hotel room and very reasonable!! It was everything we expected!!!

This apartment has been our home away from home for the last two winters. We loved the size of the unit and the view from the spacious balcony. The bedrooms are separated by the living area so are very private and each one has a full bathroom. Flamingo is beautiful and safe with lots to do (or not, as you prefer), the water is always warm and safe to swim and there is lots of choice in restaurants. Rent a car for a few days and go to the volcano or go snorkelling from a catamaran then watch the sunset from the beach.
Owner response:Thank you very much. We glad that you enjoyed our condo and Flamingo area.

I think I speak for my wife as well when I say it was beyond our expectations. Renee and her husband were very helpful. She gave us all the info we needed for an excellent vacation. Eva and I literally had no problems the entire week. We took full advantage of the resort across the way and Renee helped us with a driver and tour guide. Also, it was quite nice that someone comes in and cleans. We were initially worried about leaving it nice for you, but it was great that it was taken care of. Thanks again for the excellent vacatio

This is a really clean and spacious condo unit. We were told that it originally had been 3 separate hotel rooms that were combined into a single condo. That would explain the extended balcony that ranges the entire length of the condo. This place would sleep 4 comfortably, and as many as 6. Renee, the property manager, was extremely helpful. She set us up with a tour of the Rincon de la Vieja national park, which was reasonably priced for a private tour. The location is good for a quiet, relaxing stay (not for party-goers). The Flamingo Beach Resort, which grants access to condo guests, is a decent place for drinks and relaxing by the pool. The beach is right behind the resort, and is nice as well. Our only issue was the plumbing. The tub and sinks would back up, and cause the entire place to smell. Renee said it was going to be addressed, so hopefully it is no longer a problem. Overall, a good option for a quiet Guanacaste vacation.
Owner response:The plumbing problem is fixed and it is no longer an issue.

My wife and I just returned from a week at Flamingo Beach. Condo was great - clean, quiet, comfortable, fantastic view of the bay. The beach is close and perfect to walk to. The area has beautiful beaches. Drive to Tamarindo and buy your groceries at Super Automercado. Use the huge swimming pool at Flamingo Beach Resort. Good times in Guanacaste and CR's Gold Coast!
Owner response:Thank you Bart & Reyna! I am glad that you had a good tume and enjoyed your stay. Maria

Our stay in this condo has exceeded our expectations. The apartment was exactly as it was described, very spacious and well equipped and the owners and rental agent provided us with prompt, detailed answers to our many questions. Once we arrived we realized that, although Flamingo is a small town, there is lots to do with restaurants in every price range and live music and dancing every week. The Monkey Bar at the Flamingo Marina Hotel across the road is great for lunch, dinner and happy hour and the friendly atmosphere at the Mariner makes everyone feel welcome. We enjoyed long walks along Potrero Beach to have breakfast in Surfside and the supermarket and bank are just a 15 minute walk away. The local store is also good for your immediate needs. If you take your patience with you, the local bus service will take you to Tamerindo for about $1.50 each way. All the beaches in the area are safe for swimming and the are free of rocks or garbage. The gym in the building is also fairly well equipped with tread mills, elipticals and recumbant cycles and some weight equipment. I would recommend this condo to anyone interested in visiting Costa Rica.

First of all, this place is located in a beautiful spot! Second of all, the condo was everything the listing promised it was and more! My husband and I stayed at this condo with another couple for 5 days. There is plenty of privacy, due to the fact that the two bedrooms are on separate sides on the condo and each with their own full bathroom. The place is absolutely beautiful. Clean, modern and has all of the amenities you could ask for. The view from the balcony is breath taking! Having full access to the resort is a huge plus. The resort and its staff were wonderful. The beach was perfect, especially for long walks. The walk to the resort and the beach from the condo is less than five minutes. There are several very nice restaurants within walking distance. Thank you for letting us stay at your beatiful place! We would love to come back!

This condo was everything it was described as and more! My friends and I were very pleased & Renee, the property manager was lovely & extremely helpful. The only thing we were dissappointed about was that the condo did not have wireless Internet as advertised. We were able to pick it up on the balcony but it was spotty at best and most of the time did not work at all. Other than that, the place was pristine, amenities outstanding and a great value!
Owner response:We have stated in the listing that free computer and internet are available from the Flamingo Beach hotel (our guests have access to the hotel facilities). Regardless, we are installing Internet connection in the unit and it will be available to all our guests free of charge.

This is a great condo at a great price in a wonderful location. It was clean, well-kept, near the ocean, and the description of it was accurate. It is very spacious as well. The furniture and amenities are great, and we just really enjoyed our stay and are anxious to return to this condo! I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Costa Rica.

My husband and our friends (a couple) and I had such a wonderful time at the beautiful Flamingo Beach, Costa Rico! The condo where we stayed had everything we needed to feel ourselves at home. We enjoyed our early morning walks on the beach, pleasant swim at the ocean after, and spending the most of a day at the swimming pool at the Flamingo Resort Hotel. We found it to be a great advantage to stay at the condo and at the same time to use the hotel amenities that also included the free Internet. The two bedrooms unit has two very private bedrooms/bathrooms so we enjoyed the company but were able to have privacy at any time. The view from the condo were breathtaking and my husband and I are still talking about wonderful breakfasts we had at the balcony when we could enjoy the most delicious Costa Rico’s fruits and the beautiful view. We would love to go back and stay there longer. Thank you for letting us to stay at your condo. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time and will recommend your place to others and hope to come back for another visit someday! The view was fantastic and it was clean and nice and comfortable! The maid service was excellent. Our kids enjoyed having their own beds! The beach was a close walk and we were able to use both Flamingo Beach Resort and Flamingo Marina Resort facilities at no cost. The people were very friendly and helpful. Thanks again for making our vacation truly enjoyable and relaxing!

Thanks for the use of your place. The view was one of the best in the complex. The condo was clean, modern and beautiful. The bedrooms were comfortable and there's a lot more space than seems when you look at the pictures online. It had everything we needed to make our vacation great. Thanks for letting us enjoy it. We'll be back.
