"Bear Necessity" is a very quiet mountain cottage near the top of Pinnacle Mountain with great views of mountain ranges, valley and Hendersonville. Great hiking and beautiful waterfalls can be found nearby in Dupont Forest, Piscah National Forest and Holmes Forest. In 30 minutes you can be on the Blue Ridge Parkway near Ashville. In nearby historic Flat Rock is the Flatrock Playhouse and Carl Sanburg's estate. Great restaurants and antique shops are plentiful in Hendersonville and surrounding areas.
You can sit out on the wrap-around porch/deck and enjoy the spectacular mountain views, privacy and a cool breeze.All rooms have ceiling fans(no a/c). The sunroom, living room and master bedroom open onto the deck/porch.
