Our mountain chalet-style "Baby Bear Lodge" offers everything you have been visualizing in the perfect Colorado Rocky Mountain vacation for your family! The location behind Pikes Peak and four miles from Divide offers a wide variety of scenic wonders and outdoor activities as well as many historical attractions. The cabin is situated on beautifully wooded property with views of distant snow-capped peaks. To walk the neighboring roads and trails will take you past a variety of rock outcroppings and little ponds.
The cabin features a rustic cedar-sided exterior and is completely remodeled inside to feel like a new home, including granite countertops, ceramic tile, scenic wall mural, wood floor, pellet wood stove, cathedral windows, tongue-in-groove vaulted ceiling, ceiling fans, and a large loft to serve as a second bedroom. On the front deck you can relax and rejuvenate in the soothing hot tub under a clear starry sky. A picnic area has been arranged with an old Franklin stove serving as a chimney, chuck wagon-style barbecue grill and a picnic table to give a "camping out" feeling to your family feast. A gas grill is also available for your convenience.
Baby Bear Lodge offers plush new mattresses for a great night's sleep. You will find a queen in the master bedroom and the loft is set up with double and twin beds. The loft, not full standing, makes a cozy and comfortable sleeping area for adults or a fun playroom and bedroom for children. Very small children should not be left unattended in the loft and can use the single futon chair in the living room for a safer sleeping option.
We have decorated our Baby Bear Lodge with an attractive selection of cabin "Bear" art and mountain scenes. The master bedroom is warm and cozy with an antique look. Our cabin is set up perfectly for families, yet would make a wonderful romantic getaway for couples. Your vacation in Colorado's Pikes Peak region and at Baby Bear Lodge will remain forever in a lifetime of wonderful memories!!!

Baby Bear Lodge was the perfect antidote to our prairie blues. Full of charm and cozy comfort, the cabin has everything we could have possibly wanted to make out stay perfect. We really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub, catching a glimpse of falling stars through the trees. The pellet stove was a pleasant surprise and made for very pleasant evenings in with a movie or two. It was wonderful to be so close to Woodland Park and our favorite restaurants. We hope to be back in the summer to enjoy the quaking aspens and summer wildlife.
Owner response:Thank you, Brenda! You so spoiled us as the cabin was left so neat and clean! We do look forward to hearing from you to return this summer!

We had a great time, we put on our hunting clothes and sat outside for a long time that night and listened to the Elk bugle. It was awesome. We loved the cabin and the hot tub and will certainly stay there again. Thanks, Lenora Fair
