Baby Bear Lodge was the perfect antidote to our prairie blues. Full of charm and cozy comfort, the cabin has everything we could have possibly wanted to make out stay perfect. We really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub, catching a glimpse of falling stars through the trees. The pellet stove was a pleasant surprise and made for very pleasant evenings in with a movie or two. It was wonderful to be so close to Woodland Park and our favorite restaurants. We hope to be back in the summer to enjoy the quaking aspens and summer wildlife.

The Baby bear cabin was a real treat it was clean it was a really pretty place My kids loved the deer that came in the yard in the evening and in the early morning the wild animals was so much fun to watch. The big glass windows you could see every thing.The porch was a treat we would just find our self lost we did not even want to come home .This is a great cabin.We will be back to the baby bear cabin to stay again.Every thing was perfect about this cabin .I liked that it was not around a lot of other cabins but there was other cabins but you still had your own privacy.Thanks so much Gay and Gary for having such a great cabin for a great get a way for my family.

This was definitely away from it all! We loved the cabin. Everything was in perfect condition when we arrived and there were plenty of supplies in the kitchen. I think our most favorite moment was when we were in the hot tub around midnight looking up at the stars and could literally see them rotating through the sky! I've never seen that before and it was amazing. I loved the little hummingbird friends that frequented the porch area. We really enjoyed the Steakhouse in Woodland Park. Best green beans we've ever had. The Sunbird in Colorado Springs was beautiful and the food was good too. Seven Falls and Garden of the Gods were spectacular and the drive up Pikes Peak was an all time thrill for us. It was very cold up top (37 degrees) so make sure you bring sweaters - we were in shorts and a t-shirt, brrrrr! We spent quite a few hours in Manitou Springs just walking around, shopping and sampling the natural mineral spring water from the various fountains throughout the city. Our short stay was wonderful and we can't wait to go back! Thanks!

Hello folks, Good to hear from you. Yes, we made it home with no problems, although we didn't really want to leave the Baby Bear! You can read our comments in the guest book. I suppose the best thing for us was the white Christmas. It had snowed about 3" Friday, but we were afraid to even hope for snow on Christmas day. That's a real rarity in Georgia. The last I experienced was when I was 8 year old - that was 48 years ago! And, although we'd been out in your area several other Christmases, the snow always seemed to zig when we zagged. We were so delighted when it snowed all that day! We got out and walked and played in it several times. You don't happen to know the official amount that fell on Christmas day near the cabin, do you? When we return to Colorado (and we will!) our plans will definitely include the Baby Bear. We hope your new year is a fantastic one! All the best, Marc and Penny Carpenter

Thank you for allowing us the pleasure of your wonderful little Baby Bear! What a cozy cabin, very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the hot tub (sorry to miss your call!) and wood pellet stove -- we'd never seen one before! Mary Anne and I had a wonderful, relaxing weekend -- so did Bugsy and Sally, though they were too busy exploring the new sights and scents to relax much. We did drive past your other 2 properties (thanks for allowing that). I especially liked the privacy and beautiful meadow at Deer Meadow Retreat. While I can't make any commitments right now, Deer Meadow is at the top of my list for my family trip in the spring. I hope to firm up plans by Thanksgiving. We really enjoyed our stay at the Baby Bear Lodge. It was just enough space for us to let our 2 yr old run and play while we sat by the fire and watched a movie. Very relaxing setting and we will have to come back in the Summer sometime. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks for everything Gay!

The Baby Bear Lodge was great as this was our first experience with renting a cabin. The cabin had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable as it was just the right size for our family and the location was great. Thanks again for the use of your cabin. We had such a nice, relaxing time. It was perfect for us. Zach thought the loft was sooo cool. You really thought to include everything...spices, cooking oil, coffee, tea bags, washer/dryer...unheard of at other places. Without a doubt the most equipped cabin we've rented.
