This new home boasts an open kitchen, dining and family room overlooking a very large wrap deck. Its gourmet kitchen comes fully equipped with custom cabinetry, granite counter tops and every imaginable amenity. The master bedroom suite features a Jacuzzi, TV private entrance onto the deck from a master bedroom sitting area and is handicap friendly.

This home is perfect for family gatherings, and is privately nestled in the pines with decks that are great for sunning or dining. There is lots of afternoon sun and evening sunsets. Because the home abuts forever-wild properties on two sides, you may often see wildlife wandering about. The home has 4000 square feet of living space with spacious lawn area for backyard activities. Home is 450 feet from the island bike paths and shuttle stop.
There are two complete laundry areas, one on the second floor and the other in the garage. An after swim outside enclosed hot/cold shower area helps to keep sand outside. Many games, books, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella, backyard games, jogging stroller, booster chair, Pack and Play, beach toys, TVs and videos are in the home for guest's use.

Located 1 1/4 miles from Main Street, 1/4 to Rotary, 1/2 mile to grocery, bank, restaurants etc. Many beaches are within 2 miles of the home and none is further than 6 miles. Home is located near bike paths, shuttle stop, and on a short private road surrounded on 3 sides by forever wild or no development. Home has large private back yard with wrap deck and room for enjoying back yard games and sunning. You feel like you are out of town and away from the hustle and bustle but you are actually only 1 1/4 miles from downtown. You can avoid the traffic of town and get to all ends of the island easily from the rotary located only 1/4 mile away and often avoiding town all together!

About the owner: I was born and raised in Nantucket but left after college and raised my family in Rhode Island. Coming to Nantucket is so special to me, my children, and now I hope my new grandchildren will share our joy of a Nantucket getaway.
Why the Owner Chose Nantucket Town: My family owned a large parcel of property on this island and my parents subdivided it and shared lots with me and my sibblings. Because I was the second oldest I got an early pick. I chose a lot that borders forever wild on 2 sides and no development on the third. There are many birds, wildlife, wild berries bordering my property. It's solitude yet its close proximity to town make it very special.
The Unique Benefits at this House: A new bike path has been added, some of which was donated by my family. This bike path makes it easy to ride to all ends of the island. Travellers that enjoy biking find my close proximity to the bike path to be a very unique benefit. Additionally, the guest apartment make a great bedroom space for Nanny's, grandparents, or older adults without children.
