Welcome to our beautiful home in Dangriga Town, located in southern Belize. Lewis Family Home is a private family residence, which is rented part of the year. Family oriented, it is modern and safe, near the sea with easy access to all parts of the country.
The upper level of the Lewis Family Home has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms; a King-size bed, Queen-size bed and a bedroom with 2 twin beds. This home is located on the main and is walking distance to the beach. It boasts a wide veranda, where you can kick-back and enjoy your sunrise coffee. Relax and get a feel of the daily life of the town.
Dangriga can be accessed daily, by plane from Belize City Airport, bus transportation or car rental arrangement. Our home is located on the main, between the local airport and the bus terminal. Day-trips throughout the country or to the borders of Guatemala or Mexico, are easily accessed from Dangriga.
For a perfect vacation combine your stay in Dangriga with time in Hopkins, where your meals can be arranged at Iris' Restaurant, Seine Bight and Placencia, which are less than an hour away, as well as the southern cayes.
Dangriga is the heart of the all encompassing Garifuna Cultural Experience. It is one thing to visit the major attractions of a destination, it is another thing entirely, to discover the heart of a destination, this includes the people, places and traditions, that only the locals know and cherish. Immerse yourself in the local culture. A home-hosted meal can be arranged, visit the local market, discover the works of local artists and make new friends.
