The Grayton Escape is a NEW BEACH HOUSE and PARADE OF HOMES WINNER located in the private, gated community known as the Preserve at Grayton Beach. The subdivision is surrounded by the state forest and has a private deeded beach access that leads to one of the most beautiful, pristine, secluded areas of the beautiful Gulf Coast. There are also two community pools, tennis courts, and two clubhouses with fitness, restroom, and shower facilities. You must see this home to appreciate all it has to offer!
The beach access for the Preserve at Grayton Beach is a 2-3 minute walk from the house. Once you reach the community's beach access, it is another 2-3 minute walk down a shaded boardwalk to the beach. The beach for the Preserve is located between the state park and some private residences with no public access nearby, so there are no crowds on the beach. There are dune lakes on either side with creek beds that run between the lakes and the ocean that are great for little ones to splash and play in.
There is a local rental service that will provide daily beach chair and umbrella set up and delivery. We also keep a Radio Flyer wagon at the house to help pull gear and kids down to the beach.
The Grayton Escape is spacious and will sleep eleven comfortably with three and a half baths. The home features a large master suite on the first level with a king-size poster bed, whirlpool tub, fantastic rain shower, and private access to the large rear screened porch. Upstairs there are two large bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and one with two full-size beds, each with its own private bathroom. In addition, there is a twin over full bunkroom. Other features include hardwood floors, custom kitchen and baths, and custom decorating.
The Grayton Beach area is a quiet retreat, but only minutes from the shops on 30-A, Grayton Beach, Seaside, and Watercolor, and a short drive to the hustle and bustle shopping and cinemas of Destin and Sandestin. There are great bike and walking paths and plenty of outdoor activities available nearby as well.
