Great Location - Hope to return soon

This was an excellent apartment. It is close to the Tube, shopping, groceries, Regent Park, the bus routes and the Eurostar. My husband, sons (13 and 10) and I had a great time. The apartment is very spacious and the kitchen was well equipped and the washing machine was a nice feature. The bathroom was a nice size and we had a second 1/2 bath. The owners clearly care about what they do because they are responsive and have a clean and well kept apartment. This is a very nice and safe neighborhood. Camden Lock and Market were a lot of fun. Good food, wonderful people watching, and eclectic merchandise, always interesting. Although I was told by some acquaintances in the states that this apartment was out of the way, we felt like everything was easily accessible without feeling touristy. We felt like we lived there. Just keep in mind to start early because every museum and some businesses close early in central London. We did not feel that way in near the apartment.

Exactly as advertised. Very clean and comfortable with all the comforts of home. Great neighborhood for shopping, groceries, restaurants, parks. Easy to get to tube. Quiet neighbors. Camden Town was perfect for teenage girls for cool shopping. The owner of the apartment and the caretaker were both very helpful every step of the way. I would highly recommend this property!

Flat was great. Very big and bright. Great location. More importantly, the owners Alex and Alan went out of their way to work with my last minute changes. Nothing but good things to say about the whole time. Will rent it again for sure. Scott Van Dyke

We stayed here over Christmas. The flat was everything we could have hoped for. It was large, clean, very well appointed and within 5 minutes walk from both supermarkets, restaurants and the Underground. It sits on the edge of Camden and Primrose Hill and so you have the choice of either funky cosmopolitan or refined, well healed middle class shops available to you at the same distance. I would go back in a shot.

My family (wife and daughters aged 16 and 20) and I stayed in the apartment in July 2007 and had a marvellous time. This was my first time to book through VBRO or anything similar and it was no problem at all. Alex, the owner and her husband swiftly answered my questions and we were delighted with the apartment when we arrived. Because we had arrived in UK a few days earlier and had been travelling by hire car, we arranged with Alex to let us have some residents parking vouchers so that we could legally park on the street outside the apartment for a few hours whilst we unloaded and sorted ourselves out. As a visitor to London you do not want a car and you do not need one for this apartment as the bus and tube connections are very close and convenient. The apartment is bright and airy, well and modernly equipped and furnished and has the feel of a comfortable home, as opposed to a place designed for holiday lets. The Apartment is a raised ground floor unit, sufficently raised that you feel secure, but not so high that you lose the effect of looking across the communal lawns in front of your windows rather than looking down on them. Like the others who have rented the apartment, it more than met our expectations and I would not hesitate to rent it again. Although it is in a residential area, restuarants, shops, supermarkets, convenience stores and pubs are within 5 minutes walk and Camden Lock, about 7 minutes walk away with its markets, alfresco drinking and dining around the canal is one of London's main tourist destinations. A C2 bus (5 minute frequency) from the Cabinet War Rooms, (in Whitehall by 10 Downing Street) back to the apartment took under 15 minutes. Great flat, great location, great value.

Like the others who left comments, we had a wonderful stay. The flat has a modern design to it, but it's still very comfortable and homey. It's outfitted with everything you need to feel at home: a well-furnished kitchen, linens, an entertainment system -- and the computer is a huge help in planning sightseeing. The location's great. There are restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The Camden Town tube stop is a short walk away, and it gives very easy access to wherever you want to go in Central London. If you have teens, they'll love the nearby Camden Lock Market on weekend days. Don't be turned off by fears that this flat isn't next to a major tourist location: Here, you've got the chance to live in a real London neighborhood.

Just returned from 5 nights at the apartment and like others have said, it was a perfect situation. So close to the tubes, restaurants, and a large supermarket. Great base for London as it is close enough to the city but plenty of space. Can't beat the price compared to a hotel either. We've stayed in VRBO accomodations for years and are pleased again with the process. Owners were very helpful in so many ways beyond the actual rental. We were crazy enough to rent a car to get to Stonehedge and they even helped with parking arrangements. Apartment is tastefully decorated and spacious. Our teenage sons loved it and liked the fact that one could sleep in the 2nd bedroom and the other on the hide a bed in the study. If we ever get back to London again we'd rent this place in a heartbeat. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I have just returned after a week in this flat and it could not have been better. My family had a great time, my teenage daughter could not get enough of Camden Market, my son of Regents Park, and me, of charming Primrose Hill (all a 5 minutes walk away). The flat was very clean, modern and bright, and the contact person in London was very helpful. Even though it is so close to everything, the location is very quiet, just perfect. Camden Tube station as also 5 minutes away, and there are a TON of restaurants around the corner Dealing with the owners was also a breeze, everything worked out perfectly. Thank you for the great time!

Our family had a wonderful, relaxing time at the apt. It was warm, clean, spacious and comfortable. The location was ideal. Close to the West End, the Park, Primrose Hill for tea, Campden Lock for teenagers. We couldn't have asked for more! Thank you.
