The location and space of accommodation was excellent. The facilities in the complex were also excellent,albeit the pools were small. Particularly pleased with the BBQ which were effective and cleaned daily. We found the accommodation very spacious with an excellent view. However, it is in need of a decor refresh as quite run down, particularly the bathrooms. It could also have been cleaned more effectively and de cluttered as storage space was limited. We had internet access, cable TV and general facilities were well maintained and made our stay comfortable. Local beaches, restaurants and shops were within walking distance and there was always plenty to do to keep active. Particularly enjoyed the Dog and Duck pub food and the market shops. Also recommend the Hana Road trip with a tour bus and the Helicopter ride to Molokai. I hope the above helps

We have been to Maui 8 or 9 times now and stayed at the Maui Vista several stays. This was the first at this apartment because of our schedule in August 07. We were not disappointed and found the view from this terrace to be one of the best. The owner was very accommodating and accessible with any issue prior to the trip and during it. I agree with the other comments written here and would not have any concern returning,, in fact we may want to book for 1 or 2 months next winter. I would add that the one other deal is to go to Boss Frog to rent all water gear. Get you fins and mask at a budget price and they throw in a dive on their boat to boot. We've been to Molokini twice on this special, for $20 total each.

We just recently stayed in this condo for a week with another couple. We found it to be very comfortable. In the owners comment about the pictures of the ocean from the lanai didn't do the view justice. She was not kiding, the view was much more than we expected and actually we spent most of our time on the lanai if we were not out and about. The condo was very well supplied with everything we needed. It also has A/C as well as a couple of accelating fans that made sleeping at night very comfy. Please don't hesitate to rent this condo for the price, the location and all the extras that have been provided with this condo you will not be disappointed. Tip #1: Even though there is a discount key tag for shopping at Foodland, you will fair better is you shop the sale items at Safeway. Tip#2: Alexander's down the street has excellent fish and great prices, split a basket with someone because the portions are huge. two people can eat for about $9. Tip #3 Go to the Kahului Swap Meet on Saturday morning and stock up on fresh island produce for a faction of the grocery store prices and also score some good prices on souveniors. Be careful though and what the pricing some are a bit priced over what you can get at the regular tourist shops. Go have fun and remember " No Worries, Brah "

The Maui Vista is a great complex to stay, this unit providing a dream come true by enjoying the ocean view from lanai every morning with a cup of Kona Coffee!! 1/2 block to three of the best sand beaches and great snorkling areas with a local green turtle living at one of the reefs. Breakfasts in the room each day, 50% BBQ'd on site and 50% eating out, very reasonable room rates provided a very affordable 2 week vacation. All I can say is WOW!. Not only is this the best priced condo in kihei, it also the most comfortable and well furnished as well. You will not regret staying here. Great view, clean, had everything one needed, and more. Thanks Kathy

We just returned from Maui and were very impressed. This property is perfectly located on on one of the best beaches in Maui (especially of the 3 Kamole's). We couldnt drag our kids from boggie boarding and frollicking in the surf. This unit is in the front building and is just steps away from the beach. This is not a 5 star property by any means, but it was very clean and comfortable. Save your money by staying in an affordable condo such as this and spend your money on activities.We will definately be staying here in the future! 1 tip - the grocery prices at Foodland are expensive unless you have a membership tag. It is on the condo room key (it will save you a bundle) 2nd tip buy an entertainment book it saved us about $100 3rd tip rent your car from budget with costco membership fullsize car for 10 days was $190 4th tip get book "Maui Revealed" everyone on the island has it
