Great for a large party

We had a large party (family reunion) and everyone loved the house. The House was well furnished and supplied, the owners made check in/check out, extremely easy. Great view of the lake and lots of amenities/activities. We took all the kids on a great hike on the trails and never actually left big canoe. We highly recommend.

This year we stayed on the lake and it was beautiful and serene. At the property owner's suggestion, we look the lower falls hike which was fabulous. We also spent time at the playground which has ball fields and a basketball court. The listing description is accurate. This house is stocked with everything you need to prepare a full Thanksgiving dinner. The views are spectacular. There were 7 adults and 2 children. Plenty of room for all of us. The house is clean and beds are comfortable. I wouldn't recommend the sofa beds to anyone, but children -- but all of the beds in the bedrooms were fine. Very happy with our choice!

Quiet, secluded,well appointed mountain retreat

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week in the North Georgia mountains at this well appointed property. The kitchen was more than adequately equipped to allow us to prepare and serve Thanksgiving dinner for over 20 family/friends. During our stay we had many family/friends stop by to visit and the gate staff were friendly and accomodating. Our grand dhildren (ages 8-14) enjoyed supervised nature walks where they saw deer and wild turkeys. The game room and adjoining deck provided adequate space for their musical recitals and video game playing. The men were able to enjoy sports on the big screen TV while others had space in the great room to enjoy card/board games. The homes atmosphere is warm and inviting and if our family returns to Georgia, we'd not hesitate to rent this property again. The home owner was very good to work with and provided prompt responses to all requests/inquiries.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

You will love this place. The house has plenty of room for your size party. We had 16 adults and never felt cramped. The big screen TV was perfect for the football and movies. The deck was great with a beautiful view of the lake. You can't go wrong if you rent this place...

I have rented this house twice now, and would definitely stay here again. It is a beautiful home, and great for big group gatherings. Beautifully furnished, plenty of room, and a nice view of the lake. We'll be back!
