Margi invites you to stay in her home while you vacation on beautiful Fripp Island. This 2006 constructed Bonito Bungalow is walking distance to the Beach, the Marina, and backs up to the golf course and pond. Margi's Place provides a well decorated home where you have everything needed to feel comfortable while away from your home. There are four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, bar area, and family room with High Definition 42" plasma TV, and two screened in porches.
The four bedrooms include two rooms with comfortable king size beds, a third with a queen, and the fourth with a twin/full bunk bed ideally set up for children. Two of the bedrooms have their own private sinks, and the third has a private entry into the bathroom. The Master Bedroom is spacious and has a private bathroom, pleasant sitting area, and cozy screened in porch. There is also a washer/dryer room for your convenience.
Margi has stocked her home with games, and plenty of sitting areas to enjoy each other’s company. Two BBQ grills are also available for your enjoyment, just bring the charcoal. TWO GOLF CARTS are also included in your rental for getting around the Island easily.
If you are looking for a home away from home while on vacation, with proximity to the beach, marina, golf course, and central activity area, then Margi’s Place is your kind of home.
If you must bring your laptop, we do offer wireless Internet access to enable you to get your work done faster and get back to playing sooner! Free long distance phones within USA is also available.
We also have a one bedroom Sunsuite available to rent that is just steps away from the beach and the main pool/beach bar area. The unit is well decorated, with a queen bed, bunk beds, sitting area, efficiency kitchen, and bathroom. This is a great unit for the romantic getaway, or for overflow from Margi’s Place.

The Unique Benefits of this House
Our home is like new, having been built in 2006. It is fully stocked so you should not need to bring anything extra. There is a large screen HD TV in the great room and a dinning table that fits 8 people comfortably. Two golf carts are included in the rental which is unusual and will save you approx. $400 if you had to rent them. This home is very close to the amenities and is walking distance to the beach and marina/Bonita Boat House restaurant.

We have stayed at Margi's place for the past 4 years and four long weekends in the fall. Ideally located..just a wonderful golf cart ride...to any place on Fripp. Comfortably decorated. Homey and cozy. Plenty of bedroom and bathroom space. Cook outs are great..on the deck. We really enjoy the screened in deck...right off the master bedroom. The owners really care for their home..it is obvious. Two golf carts eliminate the cost or renting one. Outside shower is great after a day on the beach. We stayed in a different house every year.....until we discovered Margi's place. You can stroll down to the marina if you like or up to the bridge to enjoy the view. two cars can fit in the garage. It is perfect.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

This home is absolutely beautiful. The photos don't even do it justice. The ice machine didn't work while we were there but other than that this place was great. I would definitely rent this place again. The golf carts are a MUST on Fripp and this one has TWO! The beach is really close and the scenery is magnificent. We saw many many deer, alligator, birds. Found several sand dollar, a few starfish and lots of baby crabs on the beach. We saw a couple dolphins on a cruise with Capt Bill. And the Lighthouse at Hunting Island is spectacular. The kids LOVED the pools at the club, especially the Frog Pool and Lagoon Pool. If a relaxed, low-key, non-commercialized vacation is what you are looking for then Fripp Island is the place for you!
Owner response:It is a beautiful home. The ice maker has been fixed. As the owners we treat Margi's Place as if we lived there as our year round home. It does have it all.
