We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely 3 bedroom. We always cook, so I appreciated the well appointed kitchen. We picked up fish nearly daily at the Key Largo Fisheries - awesome. Or you can catch your own (but we're not big on fishing ourselves). The house is as described on the website. All the pictures really help show it off. Alisa was so responsive too. She provided detailed instructions for everything in the house as well as a folder of info on local dining as well as attractions. These were so helpful. She even sent me driving directions from the airport. Our vacation was an escape from cold northern weather and we lucked out with days in the 80's for our whole trip. We visited John Pennekamp Park a couple times and went on two of their snorkeling trips - outstanding. We took our 3 boys to the Aquacenter one particularly hot day and they had a blast. The private beach is just down the road and was great entertainment for a couple afternoons. The house has a number of amenities: games, DVDs, wifi, cable and we didn't even use the 2 bikes (with helmets), 2 kayaks with life perservers (even kid sized) or hot tub. There are 2 beach chairs and even some kids beach toys. There are lots of beach towels, though a few more bathroom towels would be great. We definitely would recommend this property.Owner response: Dear Carol, I am glad you had such a wonderful stay in Key Largo! Thank you for the great review on the home. I will address the towel issue with the house cleaners to make sure there are plenty. Thanks again and please consider us in the future if you need an escape from the cold. Sincerely, Alisa

Our trip to key largo was fantastic! The house was exactly as advertised and more. We had a party of 6 and there was plenty of room for all of us. The home was very clean and hospitable. The bedrooms were very nice, and the kitchen was fully equiped to cook full meals. I planned an annual trip for me and a few of my army buddies that we do every year for new years, and Alisa was fantastic in answering all of our questions. She was also very helpful with some unforseen issues that came up (having nothing to do with the property). Our wives really enjoyed the area as well. The beach was a perfect touch (very rare in the keys). It was a short 3 min walk or a quick ride on the bikes. They guys prefered fishing, and the home is just minutes away from good bayside fishing spots. It was also just a short boat ride to adam's cut to get ocean side as well. The highlight of the trip for the ladies was the family of manatees that were living in the canal. They came right up to the kayaks. The guys really enjoyed the hot tub as a perfect night cap for the day. The house is right across the street from publics as well (if you travel with women, you know how importaint this is). I would highly recommend this rental home to anyone! It is in a great location, and very spacious. It would be great for everything from a family vacation to a guys getaway fishing trip. The property owners were great, and we hope to visit again soon. Thanks again Alisa!Owner response: Josh, Thanks so much for the great review! I'm so glad you and your friends had a blast and enjoyed staying at our home!

We spent six days at the home in Key Largo. The residence was immaculate and very well furnished. The owners were very accommodating and very responsive. The neighborhood was quiet with a mixture of snowbirds and locals. We enjoyed seeing the manatees in the canal at the base of the house. We using the furnished kayaks to paddle in the nearby area. Try Buzzards Roost Restaurant and Meats in Islamorada. There is a Publix nearby for convenience. All in all a great place to base your vacation.Owner response: Thanks for the great review! I'm glad you enjoyed your vacation with your family!

Had a wonderful fun filled vacation. When my husband, sister, brother in law and I arrived at the house we were very pleased. We had everything we needed. Alisa had it decorated very homey. Beautiful kitchen where we cooked several meals. Enjoyed sitting on the deck, kayaking, biking, watching the manatees and nightly walks to the beach where we would meet some of the neighbors. Went parasailing at Ley Largo parasailing. Really enjoyed that and ate an Senor Frijoles - great restaurant if you like Mexican food. We also went to Monkey Jungle, Coral Castle, Theater of the Sea and Flamingo Gardens. Had the perfect vacation with everything we could possible want. The house was imaculate with many extras. Would definitely stay there again. Maybe longer next time, a week went by to fast. Would recommend this to family and friends. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Bob, Brenda, John and JoAnnOwner response: I'm so glad you and your family had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed the house!! Please visit again. Thanks, Alisa

Guest didn't have a face book account, so he emailed me this... We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Alisa and Mark's Key Largo rental. Everything is as pictured and described and then some. There is nothing that you will need except your beach attire. We brought our 13' Whaler and it fit perfectly on their electric lift. The neighbors are friendly and Alisa is the perfect host. Stay again? Absolutely! Don't miss the Fish House for dinner and Mrs. Mac's for lunch.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Alisa was wonderful and did everything possible to make sure our stay was everything we were looking for. This home is in a quiet family neighborhood so the setting is very peaceful. The home and furnishings are beautiful and spotless, the linens high quality--this place was truly better than home. You can't pick a better destination and Alisa made sure we knew all our options. She even provides instructions for the televisions so relaxing at the end of the day is seamless. The high point of our stay was waking up to three manatees swimming in the canal below our deck, reportedly a common event. The kids loved it. Don't miss the state park just five minutes away. Relaxing in the private hot tub at the end of the day was icing on the cake!Owner response: I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay! We hope you visit again!

My wife & I were looking for a laid back destination where we could recharge our batteries & take a much needed break from our daily routines. So when my wife stumbled upon this vacation rental, the prospect of a Florida Keys getaway on the water immediately appealed to both of us. Other than a rocky start locating the rental thanks to a faulty GPS it was a memorable vacation. We arrived at night so we didn't get to see the outside but the inside was better than what we expected. It is abviously a newer built home as it has all the upgrades including a great flat screen tv. We have rented before & have been disappointed to find that the accomodations did not match the pictures online. Everything for a comfortable stay is provided & everthing is new & clean. The outside was just as nice. A great canal view & a large hot tub. We could see fish right from the dock.. There is also a nice beach & boat launch just a short walk away. This place has the perfect location. It took us just 45 minutes to get to Everglades National Park & the John Pennekamp state park is almost across the street. Resaurants & shopping were nearby which we liked because we didn't want to spend our time driving. One of our favorite things to do was sitting outside at night. The canal has underwater lights & we could watch the fish in the canal swimming in the glow of the lights. The nights were balmy & the hotub so relaxing we didn't want to leave. Would I rent again. Yes! Don & Joan TOwner response: Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay!

“My wife and I wanted to plan something special for this past summer -- so we took the opportunity to rent this property for the month of August. Home is located close enough to civilization for your convenience and easy access to shopping; but far enough away to give you that “relaxed Florida-Keys feel”. We particularly liked the fact we were located within a very short boat ride to fishing, diving, watersports, and waterfront dining. Neighborhood has its own boat ramp and private beach (within walking distance); and the house even had its own boat lift, dockage and trailer storage for our 25’ center console boat. It was not unusual to find manatees swimming around the dock behind the home. The house itself is relatively new and spotless clean. Kitchen is up-to-date with all appliances and plenty of storage. Was very comfortable for our family of four with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There’s a one car garage to store your belongings and even a large heated/jetted spa to relax in after a long day of fishing and diving. Neighbors were friendly (some seasonal, some year round) and shared similar interests in fishing and boating. Would definitely consider renting out this property again in the future.”Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We stayed a week last July with our family. The house has great open, clean space. It is nicely decorated with all the ammenities you may need. Plenty of room for family of four without bumping into each other. Large kitchen and dining table for eating. Nearby beach is close enough that even our 4-year old had no problems walking to it. The house feels nicely secluded yet it has an easy, quick access to stores. Balcony was great to sit out at night and we watched the manistees play in the water! Bonus was the hot tub that we all had fun in and of course the kids loved it. Definitely coming back...Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
