We are responding to the comment posted on Sept 18. We have rented this unit for over 10 years and it has always been rented as a non-smoking unti. It was rented alot this summer, including August, and no one has mentioned any smell of smoke. Ther is abolutely no way this unit has been smoked in "a long time". After we got the complaint we asked the cleaner, our next door neighbor and other guests and they said it did not. We were not able to go check it out ourselves because our daughter had a heart transplant shortly before that. I explained that to the renter but she said she would post the negative comment if we didn't refund most of their money. By the time we were able to respond the negative comment was already posted just two weeks after their stay. Unfortunately the weather that week-end was not good and this may have impacted their stay but something which we are not responsible for. As for the TV, a cable had unattached from the back. It was hooked up and works fine. We have had two repeat renters staying since then and they had no complaints. We are very proud of our property and can assure you that you will find it meets, and exceeds, the descriptions on VRBO. We are happy to have potential guests preview the property at any time. Stayed here labor day weekend with another family and had a terrible experience. The property is listed as no smoking and there is even a no smoking sign on the door. Well, when we opened the door we were hit with the smell of cigarette smoke and it was clear that that it has been smoked in for a very long time. Every room and every surface including sheets, blankets, etc, reeked. Even the plastic outdoor patio chairs smelled like cigarettes. All 5 of us had watering eyes and headaches. Couldn't run the AC, heat or bathroom fans because that just made it worse. Couldn't even sleep due to the smell of the beds. Then we tried to use the TV to entertain the kids for a bit and it didn't work. We were so miserable we left a day early. Tried to get a partial refund from the owner since the property was not as advertised and we shortened our stay. She said "she'd look into it." That was weeks ago and we haven't heard from her. Very disappointing experience.

We had a great week at your townhouse. We had three young grandchildren so the towhouse was perfect. We were able to spend a lot of time in the yard right in front of the townhouse. We were also able to use the swmming pool, golf course and everything that the resort provided. We also went to Isle to the Father Hennepin State Park to use their beach. it was absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be back.

Had a great time in your townhome for a weekend with 2 familys with 4 kids (7-12yrs.) 3 king beds and 2 twins in rooms were perfect for our group. Kids loved playing out front on rocky shore and swimming in clubhouse pool. Dad's golfed and said it was a great/difficult course. Nice to have boat slip right out behind unit. Nice, peaceful, beautiful setting for a getaway for our families out of Twin Cities & Alexandria - easy drive from both 2hrs or less. Kitchen had more than enough of everything we needed. Loved the outdoor patio furniture, spent a lot of time there, also nice to have washer dryer in unit for just doing swimsuits/towels. We'll surely return!!!

We loved our stay! The view is amazing. The first thing you see walking in is this great wall of windows looking out to the lake, just beautiful. The unit is very spacious and cozy. We had a great time using all the amenities at the resort. Everything we needed was furnished. Could not have asked for a better place to rent for our annual vacation. We cant wait to come back!

Condo is beautifully decorated with new paint, fixtures, and carpeting. Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookware and storeage containers. Even the little things were there like coffee filters. Property was very clean and the views spectacular. Location is amazing. Highly recommended.
