Loved this place! Great whale watching right from the lanai. Beautiful pool area and convenient access to the wonderful sandy beach. The condo itself is very well appointed and well stocked in the kitchen as well as a trip to the beach - has everything you need except perhaps boogie boards. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed at his condo for only 6 days,it was absolutely amazing ! Beautiful view ! Very clean and comfortable condo. Had everything we needed plus more! My boyfriend and I stayed here in October 2011, it was our first trip to Maui and we had a great stay. The pictures are very accurate and the views are amazing. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and gadgets so that was nice for the few times we did cook. This condo is just off the highway and a good halfway point between Kihei and Lahaina (closer to Kihei though). There are two sit down restaurants close by Beach Bums and Buzz's Wharf. We went to Beach Bums twice, and it was actually pretty good. We spent most of our time exploring and really we were only there to sleep. But it was perfect for us. The bed in the master is super comfortable, the best part of the master is opening the windows at night and listening to the waves crash. We never went swimming at the beach its on, its not really for wading in the water. The pool was nice, I only used it once. We are already looking forward to our next trip to Maui. Aloha!

We were pleasantly surprised when we opened up the door of the 4th floor condo unit! There is a fully equipped kitchen including an ice making refrigerator for your mai tai's. The bedrooms are located on opposite ends of the condo and there is a marvelous breeze that comes through the unit when you open the windows. The use of the air conditioner is not even required. The lanai opens up to a fantastic view of the ocean and Mount Haleakala in the background. Every morning we enjoyed the warmth of the sunrise on the lanai while eating our breakfast. The whales weren't in residence this time of the year but we had fun watching the surfers and used the binoculars provided. We also spotted a surfing dog! We used the gaz BBQ down by the heated pool and appreciated the beautifully kept grounds on the property. We'd come back to this unit with absolutely no hesitation! We spent a wonderful month here. Kanai A Nalu complex is beautifully maintained. The unit is beautiful, well kept, clean, and comfortable. The view couldn't get better. We have stayed at many places in Maui. We were completely satisfied. We will be back.

We wanted to say WOW!! We were both thrilled when we opened the door to the condo, and saw the most spectacular view off the lanai. Pictures and words don't do it justice!! Every day, we would look out the window, or sit on the lanai and think how lucky we were to be a part of paradise. The entire complex was clean, the pool was amazing, people were friendly, and the morning walks along the beach were fantastic! Thanks again for making our honeymoon even more enjoyable - we look forward to being able to come back and stay! Christian and Shelley

Aloha fellow travelers....picture this,You are sitting on your lanai, your favorite beverage in hand, with a tropical breeze keeping you refreshed, the palm trees swaying and the surf is making its magical sound. Yes, you are out on the beachfront lanai at the 'Kanai A Nalu' Unit #402 in Tim's condo paradise.This little paradise also comes with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds, and is very nicely furnished. We loved our stay and thank Tim for opening his home to us.Now, as far as Maui is concerned.....if you love to hike, snorkel, sight see or just plain relax, Maui has it all.We loved our stay and we will be back.Mahalo, Kathy Burlingame

The condo completely lived up to it's expectations in every regard. The location is great and views are breathtaking. It is clean, well maintained, nicely decorated and fully equipped. The in-unit laundry provided a valued convenience, so you don't need to over pack. It is plenty big as our family of 4 (including 2 teen agers) had adequate space and never felt cramped. It is located in a nice, quiet part of the island where you can relax and not have to fight traffic or large crowds. However, there are sufficient ammenities within walking distance. The check-in/out process went very smoothly and there were no surprises at any point. The only word of caution is that while the air conditioner is very powerful, it has difficulty reaching the back bedroom and sometimes it was a little warm in there. I would recommend this unit to anyone and would select it again if we are fortunate enough to return to Maui Recommended for: Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Adventure Seekers, Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

If you use all the ceiling fans in the condo and open the front door, it provides an abundant amount of air passing through to keep the whole condo cool.

Thank you for an absolute dream vacation! The pictures on the website don’t lie- What a great value for a condo on the beach. You won’t find such a well maintained place on the beach anywhere else on the island. We will definitely be back :)

We loved this place. We woke up every morning to the surf beating on the beach. This was the first time, but not the last time, we vacationed in a condo and found it to be just like being at home only the setting was so much more relaxing.

This was our first trip to Maui, May 2008. The view from the lanai was breathtaking. The condo met all of our expectations. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We stayed here in March 2008. We loved the views. Watching the whales during this time was fantastic. This condo was very comfortable, clean and had most everything we needed to make this our brief home away from home. The only thing we missed was a real full size oven. The toaster oven just didn't quite cut it, but we made it work. We made our gf/cf bread in that little thing! Having our kids with us, it was great to have full laundry in the unit as well. We were very comfortable and slept well with the sound of the waves. Neighbors were also very respectful observing quiet hours. We used the pool, the grills, the beach. All fantastic! Wish we could go back!

Owner response:Mahalo for your positive feedback. I just wanted to clarify the topic of the oven. Not only do we have a toaster over in our condo. We also have a fairly large convection oven that serves the purpose as a traditional oven.

Located as close to the water as you can be without getting wet! Located on the 4th floor, the views are unbelievable! Condo is 1st class in every regard....like new! Centrally located with easy access to all Maui has to offer! I have been to Maui 3 times....this is the best deal ever! I will defintely return. Feel free to call with any questions....Mahalo.

Wonderful view. Whales and dolphins and even a Hawaiian Monk Seal. There were tons of whales right in front of the condo. Warm ocean, beautiful moon, crashing waves. It sounds like paradise to me.
