A great vacation rental for your stay in Mexico City.
Beautiful studio on a third floor overlooking Chapultepec Park. This 50 m2 (600 square feet) studio is perfect for one person or a couple.
It is very centrally located right on Constituyentes avenue, just across the street from Chapultepec Park, a few blocks from Los Pinos, the residence of the Mexican president.
From the studio, located on a third floor, you can walk to the most important museum area in Mexico City. The famous Anthropological museum, the Modern Art, Rufino Tamayo, Natural History and Historic museums are all within walking distance.
Crossing the park you can reach the area of Polanco, very well known for its elegant shopping areas. La Condesa, a very nice area full of restaurants and cafes, is also very close by and historic downtown is just 20 minutes away. Two subway stations are close by and Mexico City subway is clean and efficient.
Centro Banamex, one of Mexico City´s major conference centers can be easily reached in a few minutes by taxi.
Located in the pintoresque neighborhood of San Miguel Chapultepec, this studio is a real oasis in the city. As soon as you walk in the garden and hear the water falling form the fountain you feel far away from the busy street. The owner lives on the first two floors and the studio has an independent entrance on the back. The modern studio sits three flights up, at the top of the house and ensconced in it's own private garden oasis.
The studio was built in the late 1980´s and has been recently remodeled. It is spacious and full of light. It has big windows on two of the walls with nothing but greenery outside. Double glass on the windows reduces the noise from the street. It has a sofa which converts into two very confortable beds.
It also has an area for you to work on a comfortable desk; that includes the use of wireless Internet.
The dining area is also spacious and can accommodate up to four people. All the furniture is new and it includes leather designer chairs in the dining area.
It has a fully equipped kitchenette with electrical stove, mini refrigerator and all the utensils you might need. The studio has a beautiful private bathroom with original art-nouveau tiles. Linens (100% cotton of an excellent quality) are provided and changed weekly. For your confort we also have brand new feather pillows and microfiber duvets.
Cleaning of the studio once a week is also included.

Beautiful Studio Overlooking Chapultepec Park. Mexico City
Year Purchased: 1976
Why the Owner Chose Mexico City
I live in this place. I know it is very centrally located and like to share it with people visiting the city. My family has lived here for over 40 years and it has an unbeatable location. My children and grand children come often to enjoy the garden.
The Unique Benefits at this Studio
There is no better location in Mexico City. Everything is easily reached. Wether you are interested in visiting the historic downtown or the new developments in Santa Fe, everything is easily reached form the studio in a few minutes. I personally use the subway to go many places; it is close by, efficient and inexpensive. The garden makes the place quiet and peacefull. I feel it is my own private oasis in the city. The studio gives you plenty more space than a hotel room. It is private and all yours to enjoy. No neighbours, no other guests, just you. It is a great place to work or just enjoy the city from.
You can easily walk to one of the most beautiful museums in the world: the famous Antropological Museum

Señor Diaz, Thank you so much for your kind hospitality. Our visit was too short. However it was also very pleasant. The studio, the park, your interesting family, all together made for a perfect visit. I enjoyed the book on Chapultepec Park and stayed up late reading. Muchisimas gracias por todo

We stayed at Studio Chapultepec from Feb 2-8, 2012. The studio is small but has everything you need. Your visit begins with a small orientation by the Architect who designed the studio. Your first glimpse of your temporary home is through the lovely garden. The studio is on the 3rd floor so going up three flight of stairs at 7,300 ft above sea level requires mobility but provides good exercise. You are extremely centrally located. You'll love the morning light coming through the two walls of windows surrounded by greenery. The linens, towels and quilts are fluffy and comfortable. Ten rental includes a booklet with information to address every possible need you might have. Daily Maid service. This is a great value and we would rent again without hesitation.
Owner response:Thank you very much for staying with us Jane! I am happy to know you enjoyed your stay. We hope you can come back and visit us soon. Best Regards, Mariana

Mexico City is such a proud, magnificent and beautiful city! It was a privilege to experience its parks, museums, markets and historic sites. Studio Chapultepec was the perfect location from which to explore, as well as the ideal place to come “home” at the end of each very full day. Our host provided not only great hospitality, but also a wealth of local tips and insights.

Dear Raúl, We depart your wonderful “tree house” today with fond memories. Your kind introduction to your beautiful city was even more interesting since it took place in your AMAZING Studio. Our walks in the park, out touring and this great neighborhood played into a most pleasant stay. Again, thank you so much.

To be in the Studio was like a vacation in the vacation which is to say that that my week here was like being at home without the responsibilities. I walked in the park, read, listened to the rain on the roof, and let my thoughts go where they may. Lovely! The loan of the books was an unexpected treat. I enjoyed them all. Of the excellent sketchbook, may I say that I was particularly charmed by those of Tlacotalpan. To any future visitors who might be over sixty years, I recommend the "tercera edad" section of the Bosque. I should like very much to return to Studio Chapultepec.

It’s our last night in the Studio and Mexico City. We are almost sad to be going back home, leaving this wonderful little sanctuary that has been our temporary home, a workspace and an unwinding space. The greenery is beautiful outside our window. Across the door is the large park. Everything is extremely convenient and the metro functions very well. Thank you for setting up this lovely studio and letting people come and share it. Thank you Ana for keeping it spotless. Looking forward to coming back

Mariana & Raul, Thank you both for all the help before we got here and while we were here. We loved our adventures to Coyoacan and Fridas' "Casa Azul", the Ballet Folklórico and Xochimilco! We were always so thankful to have such a comfortable place to come home to after a long busy day. Gracias por todo!
Owner response:We are glad you enjoyed the studio. Hope you come back sometime.

Four days' stay in Studio Chapultepec were just right for an introduction to the museums in the park. My introduction to Mexico DF as well.I was thrilled to find that dogs are not allowed in the park, making my walks there so much more peaceful. And now I can tell my friends and relatives that my neighbor in Mexico DF was the president of the country, as well. Apparently he lives near here.Yes I will recommend Studio Chapultepec if I meet anyone interested in visiting Mexico DF (or the president of Mexico)
