You will love this newly renovated cottage, "Sea Escape". It is so close to the ocean, the beach will feel like it's in your front yard. The beach is only stone's throw from the front door. Once on the beach you will find a majestic, panoramic view of 9 islands (one with a lighthouse), Saco River inlet with a jetty to climb on and fish from, etc. If you have a boat, bring it!
Hill's Beach is very quiet and just far enough to get away from all the tourist beaches. For the most part, the only people who frequent this area of beach are those who live on the street, approximately 10 houses. So the large, sandy beach is almost all yours!
If you have kids (like our family), you will enjoy the peace of mind being on a side street with very little traffic and the large yard for the kids to run and play while they wait for you to go to the beach.

I grew up just down the street and love coming back to the salt air, cool summers and visiting family. Our four kids talk about going to Maine all year long and can't wait to go back. It is the perfect location: just far enough from the beach that the kids won't go down by themselves yet just three houses from the beach on a side street with 10 houses on it. It's live having our own private beach!
