  My large family and I stayed here and had a fabulous time. The house was clean and comfortable. One of my children left a Nintendo DS there I contact the owner immediately and he sent it back with no problem. The owner was great to work with very friendly.

  This is a great place to stay! The location is GREAT - you have a short walk to the beach on one side and the grocery store on the other side. We had a relaxing time sitting on the rocking chairs on the deck/patio in the evening and made the most out of a rainy day by eating crabs in the car port on the picnic bench! The house comes with a stocked kitchen and you can tell a lot of thought was put into the decor and furnishings (the knobs on the cabinets, the mugs.. everything was beach themed!). In addition, the owner is very responsive and professional. We will be coming back!

  After an emotional breakdown last year, my husband and I stayed 5 days. I was so relaxed after returning home, many would have said I would be ready to return to work. We are staying again in a couple of weeks. Samantha's box is just right for us. All the amenities of home; comfortable surroundings and just minutes walking to the beach. Extremely medicinal.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  I was unhappy when i got my deposit back and it was short. After emailing to find out why, i was told that a mattress cover on a bed we didnt use had to be washed and it took more time to clean the rental. I take pride to never leave a mess and made sure i washed everything down before leaving. the matteress must have been from the last person and they didnt clean in-between. It was a small amount of money but i was very upset that they were saying i didnt leave it in good condition. I will not go back due to this reason. The rental itself was ok but not worth the lack of observation on their part. Just make sure you look when you get there.

  We brought our kids here for a week and found this place to be totally suitable for our needs. There was plenty of space; the kitchen was very well-stocked and overall this is a wonderful place to stay. It was also very convenient to everything we like to do in OBX. We will definitely be staying here again!

  We like it so much at Samantha's that we seem to keep staying there. I guess that makes us the "repeat offenders" in the bunch here, and pleased about it! You would be hard-pressed to find a better deal in OBX. The pricing is good, the premise is outstandingly well kept -- I'm sure ye beach people have seen some pretty marginal spots, haven't ye --, and the location is central to the Outer Banks. If you stay there (and how could you turn it down?), you'd better be respectful to Samantha, or we'll come getcha'! IMP'T NOTE: WE ARE NOT RELATED TO THE PROPRIETORS IN ANY WAY.

  This property met all of our needs. The rooms were spacious. We were walking distance to the beach, just one street away. The supermarket was a short drive away. The seafood restaurants were great. We had a grat vacation week. Thank you.

  We had a peaceful and relaxing stay in this cute beach cottage. It is very convenient to shopping and some of the best restaurants that the OBX has to offer. You are safely away from the busy street but with close and easy access to the beach. We had a great time and found the house had everything we needed. Looking forward to our next visit!
