The owner is a great person to work with. We had to change our dates and he was very accomodating. A few minor problems were quickly taken care of. The home met our needs perfectly, was in a great location - far enough from the noise but close enough to walk. B. Matthews restaurant (close by) was an excellent recommendation by the owner. Golfing was good and the owner also recommended a couple of courses. It was helpful to have a parking spot assigned to the home. If traveling to this area again, I would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

The home was bigger than the impression given by the pictures. The home was very comfortable with two nice bedrooms each with its own full bath. The location was also very convenient for walks downtown or along the river. We enjoyed walks to many of the parks/squares in an around Savannah. We took a nice bike tour and the office for this was only about 2 blocks from the property. We would stay here again if the opportunity presents itself. Our family had a wonderful vacation and the major factors were the location and comfort of the property.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers.

My friends and I recently had the opportunity to stay at this adorable, immaculate property for our girls weekend. We couldn't have been happier with the place. It was completely spotless, had everything we needed and most importantly within walking to distance to everything. We parked our car when we arrived and did not have to get back in it until we left. The parking spot is definitely a huge asset. Ron is super easy to deal with and very trustworthy. I can honestly say my friends and I will definitely be returning for another girls weekend!! Loved this place!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

The location is perfect! Within walking distance to River Street and City Market. Having a parking spot is wonderful. There is street parking if you have more than one vehicle and easy to purchase a 1 or 2 day parking pass at the visitor center. The house itself is very spacious and it's great that each bedroom has it's own bath. We really liked that there are twin beds in one bedroom. It was very clean and comfortable. We have been to Savannah 4 times prior to this occasion (SCAD Parents) and we have stayed in 4 different downtown hotels. This was by far the best, having a kitchen and laundry and the location can't be beat! The kitchen knife holder is too cute!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Our overall experience with this property and its owners was without fault. As a Savannah native, it was wonderful to return home and feel "at home." The home is tastefully decorated and is consistent with the charm one expects from a Savannah experience. Its location is within walking distance of the river, great restaurants, and many major historic sites. It is a quick shot out to the islands and the beach as well. For one night we stayed in and I cooked with fresh local ingredients. The kitchen had all of the tools needed to create a Lowcountry feast. I will add also that I am a germophobe and cannot tolerate the creepiness that comes with even some of the "best" hotels. This home felt clean from the start and proved to be just that. Bed linens, towels, and even the dishcloths were fresh and clean. We will definitely return to this property for each year's trip home from here on out.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: We appreciate the kind words and we strive to maintain that "at home" feeling for ourselves as well as our guests. We look forward to an opportunity to serve you and family in the future. Regards, Ron & Angela

My husband, son, daughter-in-law, and myself, came from Fort Rucker, Alabama to spend 4 days and 3 nights in Savannah. My son had been to Savannah several times before and had always stayed at the Best Western. I wanted a place we could stay that provided us with more than one bathroom between four people and where we didn't have to sit on a bed to relax in the evening after roaming Savannah throughout the day. When my son walked into the condo, he was pleasantly surprised! We had everything you could want at our disposal. It was comfortable and clean. We had internet access, cable tv, a bathroom for each couple, and so much more! The washer and dryer was a welcome surprise after living out of a suitcase for two weeks! The location was perfect for everything we wanted to see and do!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Year Purchased: 2002
About the owner: It was love at first site. Waking up in Savannah is comparable to being in a European town. Savannah is a 'strolling' town. When we came for the first time we stayed in a B and B and enjoyed being able to walk everywhere with beautiful scenery at every turn. Our stay was 5 days and we purchased our home before we left on that first visit. We love sharing our love and experiences in Savannah by renting our place so that others may grow to love the area as well. Upon our retirement we look forward to spending more time in this City that has continued to grow on us. We always say, 'so little time and so many great restaurants'. There are always new food experiences to be had. It's a good thing that we walk a lot while we are there! Enjoy your stay and please share your experience on the website afterwards. Ron and Angela
