Unfortunately I was only here a week! This is the perfect location, walking distance to anything you could ever need. I rented a car for the week, and never needed it. Next time i won't make that mistake and will just take a shuttle. The house is very clean and comfortable. There are 2 master bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the second with 2 twin beds. Having two master bedrooms with private baths is perfect. The location is very quiet...great for napping. I felt very safe in the city, and walked around day and late into the night with out any concern. The amount of restaurants in the area are too many to mention, and I didn't get to all that I hoped to. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Had the best girl's weekend! The location was perfect for a fall weekent to just stroll through the squares and enjoy the city. Wag-o-ween was going on (pets in halloween costumes) ... only wish was to be able to bring my Shorkie with me to enjoy the fun! The townhouse was decorated beautifully and everything was very comfortable after a long day. Parking space was definitely a plus. We parked the car on arrival and did not get in it again until it was time to come home. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely rent it again!

What a great place in the middle of it all. We really enjoyed the convenience and the coziness of this home. I would stay there again. The Owner was pleasant to deal with and helpful with local recommendations.

My wife and I spent 2 days in this great place with my brother and sister-in-law. The house was great and we have no complaints! The house had everything we needed to be able to enjoy our stay. I would definitely stay here again! It is a short walk from anything and everything you may want I do in Savannah.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay in this cozy home. Great for a weekend getaway, or a long weekend trip. Very centrally located, either walk or take one of the pedi-cabs around River St or Bay St. Recommend the Pink House for dinner, do not try Lady & Sons, none of our four ladies enjoyed the over salty and over-priced meal in a warehouse type noisy dining room. Ogelthorpe Trolley was very accomodating when we had to change reservations and also provided pick up service.

My family and the in-laws stayed at this house which is situated well in the historic district. Near the house is Washington Square which we visited a couple of times a day. There are also a few historic buildings around this house. I suggest taking one of the city trolley tours to find out more. You're 2 blocks from the Pirate House, 3 blocks from Bay Street and beyond that River Street, and about 4 squares away from City Market. The neighbors were also very friendly. This property is on the lower floor/basement. I preface the following statement that we did not have issues with moisture, nor smells, nor saw any mold. Because of this is a basement and the age of the house each room had dehumidifiers which provided a buzzing sound throughout the house. With that said, again, we did not have any issues with moisture. We also ran into a couple of roaches, which we dispatched. Again not complaining, just comes with an old house. :) The pictures are a little old because there are flat screen TVs in the living room and master bedroom. Note though the TV in the master bedroom didn't have cable so we didn't watch TV there.

The owner is a great person to work with. We had to change our dates and he was very accomodating. A few minor problems were quickly taken care of. The home met our needs perfectly, was in a great location - far enough from the noise but close enough to walk. B. Matthews restaurant (close by) was an excellent recommendation by the owner. Golfing was good and the owner also recommended a couple of courses. It was helpful to have a parking spot assigned to the home. If traveling to this area again, I would definitely stay here again.

Great Place to Stay in Savannah
Great Place to Stay in Savannah
The home was bigger than the impression given by the pictures. The home was very comfortable with two nice bedrooms each with its own full bath. The location was also very convenient for walks downtown or along the river. We enjoyed walks to many of the parks/squares in an around Savannah. We took a nice bike tour and the office for this was only about 2 blocks from the property. We would stay here again if the opportunity presents itself. Our family had a wonderful vacation and the major factors were the location and comfort of the property.

My friends and I recently had the opportunity to stay at this adorable, immaculate property for our girls weekend. We couldn't have been happier with the place. It was completely spotless, had everything we needed and most importantly within walking to distance to everything. We parked our car when we arrived and did not have to get back in it until we left. The parking spot is definitely a huge asset. Ron is super easy to deal with and very trustworthy. I can honestly say my friends and I will definitely be returning for another girls weekend!! Loved this place!!

The location is perfect! Within walking distance to River Street and City Market. Having a parking spot is wonderful. There is street parking if you have more than one vehicle and easy to purchase a 1 or 2 day parking pass at the visitor center. The house itself is very spacious and it's great that each bedroom has it's own bath. We really liked that there are twin beds in one bedroom. It was very clean and comfortable. We have been to Savannah 4 times prior to this occasion (SCAD Parents) and we have stayed in 4 different downtown hotels. This was by far the best, having a kitchen and laundry and the location can't be beat! The kitchen knife holder is too cute!

About the owner: It was love at first site. Waking up in Savannah is comparable to being in a European town. Savannah is a 'strolling' town. When we came for the first time we stayed in a B and B and enjoyed being able to walk everywhere with beautiful scenery at every turn. Our stay was 5 days and we purchased our home before we left on that first visit. We love sharing our love and experiences in Savannah by renting our place so that others may grow to love the area as well. Upon our retirement we look forward to spending more time in this City that has continued to grow on us. We always say, 'so little time and so many great restaurants'. There are always new food experiences to be had. It's a good thing that we walk a lot while we are there! Enjoy your stay and please share your experience on the website afterwards. Ron and Angela
