Located just one and a half miles from Yosemite's southern entrance on Highway 41, the Sugar Pine Cabin offers a convenient and relaxing retreat in the rustic town of Fish Camp.
The Sugar Pine Cabin sits at an elevation of 5000 feet. Visitors will experience comfortable summer temperatures. The Sugar Pine cabin makes a great base from which to see all areas of Yosemite Park and nearby Bass Lake where you can rent boats for skiing or fishing. During the winter months Badger Pass provides a winter wonderland for skiers and boarders alike. If sledding and sliding are your game the snow park is one mile up the road.
The Sugar Pine Cabin can be enjoyed by large groups. Downstairs in the Lower Sugar Pine you will find two bedrooms with queen beds, a full kitchen and dining area, full bath, large living room, and wood burning stove (wood not provided). Upstairs you will find a sitting area with satellite TV/DVD/VCR,a kitchen with dining table, a full bath and a common sleeping area with one queen and two twin beds. There is gas heat in each room of the whole cabin. The deck is equipped with a table, chairs, umbrella and BBQ. Note: The Sugar Pine Cabin is Lower Sugar Pine(downstairs) and Pine View Suite(upstairs) combined. There is a locking stairway that allows you to rent just the Lower Sugar Pine, the Pine View Suite or the entire cabin. Each have their own kitchens and private entrance. If you reserve the whole Sugar Pine cabin, the downstairs kitchen is included. There is an extra charge of $40 for the use of the 2nd kitchen.
The Sugar Pine Cabin offers the comfort of clean and cozy furnishings, television, phone, cable, DVD, and the convenience of modern kitchen appliances all within the majestic settings of the Sierra National Forest and Yosemite National Park.
