The Real Wind House is a comfortably furnished home right in the heart of historic downtown Hood River. There are two spacious units available, a three bedroom/two bath flat and an separate upstairs studio apartment. Both units are comfortably furnished with all the pleasures of home. The Real Wind House is within walking distance of many fine restaurants, wineries, brew pubs, shopping, and the Columbia River water front. Kite Beach and the Event site are within a 5 minute walk which makes it convenient for families with mixed interests.
The Flat offer a view of the Hood River Toll Bridge and Marina, a large living/dining room area, three bedrooms/two baths and a big kitchen, and is perfect for a group of six to eight visitors. High ceilings and lots of windows give it a light airy feel. There are three bedrooms, two are furnished with queen size beds and one with a full size. There is also a pull out couch in the living room for additional visitors. The rate is $895 per week or $175 per night plus tax and cleaning fee.
Also available (but not pictured here) is a separate studio apartment with its own private entrance. It offers a view of the Columbia River, historic White Salmon Bridge and Mt Adams. High ceiling and lots of windows make this a comfortable space for two persons. It has a large living area with a queen size futon couch/bed, large bathroom with shower and a great kitchen. The rate is $395 per week or $75 per night plus cleaning fee and tax. A single bed is available for an additional person for an a fee of $10 per night.
Reservations: Make your reservations early to get the best weeks! Please reserve in advance by calling the numbers provided. A deposit of 50% is required to hold your reservation. Please let us know what dates you desire on first inquiry. We prefer to be paid by check and also accept travelers checks and payment by Paypal. Check-in time is 4:00 pm and Check-out time is 11:00 am.
