We made a great choice! We so enjoyed our first visit to Puerto Rico and couldn't have been happier with our choice to rent from Gabby. She even included taxi service! Great person! Location was perfect if you want to be near the action and right on Isla Verde Beach. Short walk (5 minutes)to everything including grocery store, Walgreens, restaurants, and car rentals. We were able to find a one day car rental, so we could drive to the rainforest, at one of the two car rental kiosks in the Isla Verde Mall. Not really a mall, just a Walgreens and Denny were open. Gabby recommended we make a reservation and she was right couldn't find a car rental anywhere but at U-Save which happened to be real close. The condo had spacious bedrooms with private baths and they are on opposite ends of the living/kitchen area. Tastefully decorated and equipped with most everything you need in the kitchen for appliances, etc. Be sure to buy some Coquito(sp?) fresh pineapple and coconut to make the best pina coladas! The best part was the spacious balcony with its spectacular views of the beautiful blue water. We very much enjoyed our Puerto Rican coffee out there every morning. I think I miss that the most. The breezes off the ocean were so wonderful. We never needed the AC and every day it was in the 80's. We were very happy with our choice. Thanks, Gabby

Just returned from our second stay in one of Gaby's Condo's. Last year stayed in the one BR and this year with more family in the two BR. Condo has everything needed to just relax and enjoy the beautiful ocean views/beach/nearby hotels with casino's/excellent restaurants and very friendly tourists and local residents. And coordinating all with the owner Gaby is so easy including rides to/from the airport and knowledgeable recommendations about where to visit and oth island highlights. Highly recommend this Condo to anyone planning to visit Puerto Rico!

We had a wonderful time during our first visit to Puerto Rico. Gabby was very organized throughout the whole process. It was so nice for her to pick us up at the airport and give us a brief tour and explanation of the area. The room exceeded our expectations and the view is beautiful! We were very pleased to be right on the beach, a five minute walk to the grocery store, and a few minute walk from several restaurants. We had great weather everyday and spent the majority of our day on the beach. It was nice to be able to use the cooler and chairs provided within the rental. We rented a car for one day and it was very convenient to be able to use Gabby's parking spot provided. We have recommended this place to several people and would definitely use it again. We love Puerto Rico!

Everything you want and need in a vacation rental. Very clean, well maintained beach is right there, great views of the ocean and city, easy walking to stores and restaurants (be sure to go to Platos and have a coconut Sangria), car rental. Bus stop is right out front for that trip to Old San Juan. Gaby is a wonderful hostess -- picked us up from the airport and gave us helpful information about the area. She took care of everything! No need for A/C -- the breezes keep the condo cool. The area is very safe. This is a great place and we highly recommend it for a very relaxing stay in Puerto Rico.

Gaby's place is fabulous. The 180 degree view from the 17th floor is unsurpassed. You can clearly hear the ocean waves and it is high enough to keep mosquitos away. It is located in a 60's-70's vintage building, and the decor reflects so. However, both the building facilities and the apartment are exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The beach is essentially an elevator's ride away - truly beachfront. The owner met us at the airport after our plane arrived late at night, took us to the apartment right away, and showed us to the assigned parking. There are hotels, casinos, a 24-hr Wallgreen's pharmacy, and a well-stocked Pueblo supermarket all within walking distance. We brought our masks and snorkels to go snorkeling at other beaches, but all you need to hang out at the local beach is provided by Gaby (chairs, towels, etc.) This is certainly a beach place in the middle of one of the best beaches in the San Juan metro area, but do go to Old San Juan, El Morro castle, snorkeling at Escambron beach (or take a paid snorkeling boat trip to Fajardo on the east of the island - much better), and take a day trip to El Yunque rain forest. I definitely recommend renting a car and exploring the island. Roads are in good shape and well labelled. In summary, if you're looking for a modern, luxurious place this is not for you. However, if you want a beachfront apartment with a gorgeous view in one of the best beaches, with easy access to ammenities, all at a reasonable price, this is definitely the place to go.

Gaby was great. She always got back to our emails or calls quickly. She picked us up at the airport and reviewed everything about the condo. Condo was beautiful and exactly as indicated; great views of the ocean. Gaby mentioned two repair issues that she found on Sunday, and she was not able to get them repaired before we got there Sunday night. At our request she advised us of two good places to eat, and they were well worth it. Wonderful location and plenty of space for two older children and parents.

Just completed a 4 night stay with my 2 sons. Found the property to be as advertised on this site. No surprises. The owner, Ms. Gabby was very accessible and helpful. The location of the condo is outstanding--right in the middle of Isla Verde, easy walking distance to numerous stores and restruants. (Plato's and The Metropol were our favorites). we also used the tour desk at the Intercontinental Hotel next door to book day trips. The views from this 17th floor corner unit were outstanding as is the beach in front of the building where beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rental. The only problem encounterd during our visit was the tv reception. We were not able to get any u.s. network stations during our stay--don't know why--however, the wireless internet worked great. We definitely hope to return at some time in the future

Fantastic Location and Accomodations

Just to reinforce all the previous reviews, Gaby and her condos are the real thing. This is the best location for touring the island and it's on a nice beach with private parking. Washer/dryer is a big plus. Views are exhilarating. Well secured and attractive facilities. Would be really nice to have access to the workout room. After spending New Years Eve weekend in Old San Juan, we drove west to ride horses on the beach and east to Fajardo to visit the Vieques bio-bay and the unbelievable beaches on Culebra. Unfortunately didn't have time to see the Rain forest. We loved the island (s) and Gaby's condos!

Our family stayed at Gaby's condos December 23, 2010-January 2, 2011. I would highly recommend Gaby's condos. Besides being very clean and roomy they are on an awesome beach! The pictures of the condos are very accurate. The bus line and taxis run right out front if you choose to use them. There are many restaurants close by if you don't want to leave the area. Gaby was always very prompt at replying to emails or phone calls and is a very easy person to work with. Her shuttle service to and from the airport was also very appreciated. We had a great time in Puerto Rico and would definitely try to rent from Gaby's if/when we return to Puerto Rico.

We have used VRBO in the past and have always been very satisfied with our rentals. This condo was everything we wanted. It is in a very secure building. The condo and the entire grounds were well maintained and very clean. Gaby was at the airport to pick us up and very helpful in getting us squared away. She answered all of our questions about the area, taxis, buses, good restaurants. etc. There is a grocery store w/i walking distance and a Walgreens in both diresctions on Isla Verde Ave. The Intercontinental Hotel/Casino and the El San Juan hotel/casino are next door to the towers. The condo is on the 17th floor of a 20 story building but the elevators (3) were quite fast. If I ever get to go back to Puerto Rico, I would stay here in a heart beat!

What a wonderful place! The view, location and price could not be matched. Gabby met us when we arrived and was totally helpful, as well as helpful when leaving. The elevators were fast, and lots of dining places within walking distance. Great place for breakfast right across the street. The location is great for exporing and as a central location for sightseeing, plus there is a great beach bar close by. In short, it was great, we highly recommend you stay here! Thanks, Gabby

We spent the 1st week November here in this condo. Gaby even provided a ride to the condo when we landed. The condo was very nice,spacious for 2 couples. Would of been nicer if the 2nd bedroom had a door to it, but the way it was postion we still had enough privacy. We like the 2 bathrooms. The condo was secure feeling. The balcony was great,the view was amazing. The condo is right on the beach. The bus stop is right out front of the condo. Plenty of restaurants. Gaby is very nice to deal with. The kitchen was sufficent. The washer and dryer was a very nice touch. Nice to have a regular size icebox. Had cooler and boogie board and chairs we used. Wish we were there right now. Thanks so very much for sharing your condo.

We began our recent two-week PR vacation in this beautiful condo strategically located on the gorgeous Isla Verde Beach, close to hotels, restaurants, and everything else we needed and/or wanted (two couples/family)... We stayed 7 nights. We did our homework and chose Gaby's condo. Great choice! The condo's view from the 17th floor wraparound balcony was spectacular; the condo amenities superb; the hospitality --on behalf of Gaby--warm and super helpful. The condo has everything you need, just pack your clothes and enjoy the beach and surrounding sites. Condo tower is fully secured, handy underground parking place close to elevator; a market within just a few blocks, fabulous pool, fabulous beach location. Also fabulous service: Gaby met us and walked us through the process (even though we arrived really late Sunday night). Her email communications prior to arrival were meticulous and informative. Thanks Gaby for answering our million questions 6 months prior to arriving. We're looking forward to returning to the same condo soon (all of us). Enjoy. Thank you Gaby for sharing your condo.

This was our first vrbo experience. Wanting to visit Puerto Rico for a week (and for the first time)we chose this condo and the 1br/1b next door for our family. In other words, we had no idea how this whole thing really worked. If you are trying to make that kind of vacation decision for your own family, you simply need to lease this condo and stop worrying about your housing plans. Much less expensive than the San Juan hotels and it's like having your own home right there on the beach. Perfect beach front location. Walking distance to hotels, casinos, restaurants and THE BEACH! The key to this great accommodation though was the condo's owner Gaby. She was amazing! No gochas! She takes care of you and this condo as advertised. We felt as if we already knew her weeks before our trip. Gaby - your friends in Texas can't rate this place high enough! Hope to see you again someday! Thanks!

We stayed here starting 3-17-09 and found it to be very comfortable, maintained well, and everything we needed as far as kitchen and bath supplies were provided in the unit. The location is safe and close to resturants and the casinos (if that interests you). Also, the airport is close by and taxis and busses are right out front. We toured the whole Island and this was a great "home base". Gaby is very accomodating to guests and a very nice person in general. Thank You Gaby

We stayed at Gaby's condo for five nights at the end of February and beginning of March. It was wonderful!! You could not stay any closer to the beach than her condo. The beach was beautiful, the water was beautiful. It was just steps away from the El San Juan Hotel which was where we signed up for the catamaran snorkling and scuba diving excursions. There is a large grocery store just a few blocks from the condo which is great since there is a full kitchen with all the appliances you need. There is also a little shopping center directly across the street from the condo. You definitely have to go to Mi Casita and have the mofongo! The overall stay was excellent and I would highly recommend Gaby's condo.

We just stayed at Gaby's condo last week and it is everything and more than was described. The view from the balcony is better than the pictures on the web site. Gaby and her husband were extremely gracious and helpful. One of the things that always concerns me when we travel is getting to our destination from the airport. That is not a worry here as Gaby showed up within 10 minutes of when we called her and drove us to the condo. The condo is well equiped and had everything we needed. There is no need to use A.C. as the breeze provided any relief from the heat you may need. The condo is in a secure building complex and is extremely safe. The beach is directly out front and you can rent beach chairs and palapas if you desire. My suggestion would be to go to Walgreens(about 3 blocks away) and pick up a couple of camping chairs(2 for $15) and a lunch cooler($3). We didn't discover this until our last day. There is a small market directly across the street, although if you go late in the day, many of the shelves are empty. A large market(the Pueblo) is about 6 blocks away and has everything you could possibly want, similar to any large super market in the states. There are a number of great restaurants all within walking distance. If we go back to Puerto Rico, this is the place where we want to stay!

We just came back from a weekend stay at this fabulous condo and we wish we could've stayed longer! Everything you could possibly need is provided and its very conveniently located to shopping, restaurants and night life. The views from the terrace are magnificent - just like in the picture and the ocean breeze was so nice we didn't need to turn the A/C on. Gaby was very friendly and a pleasure to work with. Our deposit was returned promptly after out departure as promised. I highly recommend this rental and I'm looking forward to going back again.

This condo is fantastic. I don't think you could find a better view in all of San Juan. I have stayed at other condos that say they have a view and you must lean out over the balcony looking right or left to see anything. Not here, you can hear the ocean, feel the breezes and see forever. what a great place.

It started when the owner picked us up at the airport and was everything we hoped for. We stayed with another couple for 3 nights late April 2007. The view of the beach was spectacular from the balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee. We enjoyed every minute of the 3 nights pre-cruise that we spent here. My only regrets were eating breakfast at the little restaurant at the hotel down the beach and not having more time to spend at the condo. We never closed the windows as the breezes kept both bedrooms very comfortable. Thanks again Gaby for a great start to our vacation.

My family (husband, 2 pre-teens, and myself) stayed in this property during spring break of '07. When we first pulled up to the property, I thought - WOW! Then when i saw the inside of the condo I thought double WOW! The place was beautiful and cozy. it was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed to feel right at home(towels, utensils, dish soap, books to read,ect.) The owner is very friendly and helpful. I liked her and felt comfortable with her right away. She even picked us up at the airport! Grocery shopping is not a problem as there is a small market across the street and larger grocery store nearby. There were a couple of very good restaurants within walking distance that served delicious Puerto Rican food - the kind mom used to make! one is across the street and the other is a few blocks walking (go left as you exit the security gate). sorry - I forgot the names of both but i remember the one a few blocks away has a woman's name. The beach was beautiful! and the pool was refreshing! There is a bus stop directly in front of the complex which makes it easy to get around. We did not rent a car and had no problems finding things to do. Besides, they really do drive crazy there! Anyway, you will not be disappointed if you stay here. (side note to Gaby - thanks for being so kind to us and saving our vacation!)

My family and I stayed in this condo for two weeks from 12/14 until 12/28. The condo is absolutely beautiful. It is in a great location and convenient to many restaurants. The pool is very nice and everything in the complex is kept clean. We loved the balcony and spent many hours enjoying the views. You would not be dissapointed renting this unit. We hope to return again next year.
