This condo looks exactly like the pictures, no surprises. Very clean, and comfortable. Had everything we needed. The 2nd floor location was very nice, great view, and right around the corner from elevator. This was important to us as we had 80yr. old Mom with us who walks with cane. Was able to pick her up at door. Very convenient to Pier Park with lots of shops and restaurants to keep our teen-age Son entertained. The resort was spotless with lots of security. We booked this unit only a couple of weeks before we went. Marie was very easy to work with and answered all my questions quickly. Hope to be able to stay here again.

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

I stayed here just 2 weeks ago. There were 4 adults and 3 children. We were very happy with our condo. It looked just like the pictures. Really no complaints at all except for the remotes to TV's not working, and that was no big deal to us, we weren't really into watching TV anyway. Maybe the couch could have used a good cleaning. There was everything you needed in the room from tupperware, mixing bowls, blender, toaster, pots and pans, dishes, coffee maker, hair dryers, beach chairs, iron, patio furniture, etc. The air conditioning worked great and about froze us out at times! Lots of towels and one set of extra sheets. There is a laundry room in the condo, so it was super easy to wash things if needed. The decor was beautiful. We loved our balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean and spent lots of time there. Great view of sunset from the balcony. The hotel itself was kept immaculate. I was very impressed with the cleanliness. There were even security officers who walked around the pools about once every hour to make sure that people who weren't staying at Calypso weren't hanging at the pool--We thought that was great! The pool and pool decks were cleaned EVERY morning! Marie Brown, the owner of this condo, was wonderful to work with. She always got back to me immediately with any questions or concerns. We will definately be staying in her condo again! Also, we had two kids still in strollers and with Pier Park being across the street, it couldn't have been easier! We could easily walk to the fishing Pier, numerous restaraunts, Pier Park and convenience stores. The location is fabulous! We could easily use the stairs to go down one floor to the pool/beach, or up one floor to the walkway to the parking garage. We mostly used the elevators because they were very fast and we didn't have to wait on them. Finally, I will have to say that Calypso was great, Marie was great to work with, and the condo was fabulous! I would definately recommend this condo!

Beautiful condo

This was a beautiful condo, looked exactly like the photos, however, I had trouble getting the owner to contact me, retn phone calls, emails, before my trip to get key code info to get into the room. I had to contact VRBO for assistance. When I received email from the owner, she stated if we needed anything to call her. When we got inside the condo, we noticed the sliding glass door from the master bedroom leading out onto the patio would not close or lock & was partially hanging off the hinge. I called her immediately to let her know about this but never heard a word from her. We were also told we would have use of 2 free beach chairs on the beach but when we got out there, we were told we had to have VOUCHERS from the owner for free chairs. Great price, great condo, too much anixety caused by the owners for me to use them again.

Owner response:I'm sorry that she feels this way. I went back and reviewed all e-mails. She was responded to same day or within 1-2 days of every e-mail. I would never promise beach service when I don't have it. She was told in 3 e-mails that she will receive the keycode about a week prior to arrival and asked if she wanted it sooner. Instead, she contacted VRBO. Keycode was provided on 9/10 for a 9/26 arrival. Rather than disputing every point, check out my other reviews on this listing and on #89249 or #157305. This is an unfortunate review.

Beautiful beach/no oil

We stayed in this unit the week of 7/10. Very nice unit, clean, furnished with everything you would need. 2nd floor so you don't have to wait on elevators. Within walking distance to most attractions. Would certainly stay here again.

The Brown's have a very clean and beautiful condo! I truly enjoyed working with the owner's for our vacation. The condo is brand new, quiet, comfortable and has every ammenity imaginable!
