This is a lake home with 105 feet of lakefront on scenic Chautauqua Lake. The house is situated on a double lot with a panoramic view of the water and a private aluminum dock. Enjoy playing in the yard, eating on the deck, relaxing on the enclosed porch, or just enjoying the view. The sunset is stunning. It is an ideal location for a small family to enjoy a quiet week in the summer. Renting a house with this much lakefront is ideal if your looking for a getaway.
The house can sleep 6 in three bedrooms: Room 1) queen size bed, Room 2) two sets of bunk beds, Room 3) double bed. The bunk beds are configured for a children's "bunk room". The house is configured for a family stay. If you have specific questions about the number and size of the beds let us know. Please bring your own sheets and towels. The house does not have air conditioning.
Chautauqua Lake is home to Chautauqua Institution (which is a short 15 minute drive from the house), as well as many additional shopping and eating attractions (including a nearby Wegmans!). The lake itself is over 22 miles long and has a long standing tradition as a vacation area. Staying in a lake house on Chautauqua Lake is a unique experience to remember. This home is an ideal retreat for a family to relax and play.
For those who are not familiar with the area, or with what to expect with a summer lake house (originally built in 1930 but updated over the years) feel free to ask questions and we will try to describe it as best we can.
The rate is $1,100 per week July and August, and $950 per week in June and September.
The schedule for next year will not be available until Feb 2010.
We will check with return renters beforehand.
