Endaba Valley Retreat is situated in a private, pristine valley on 122 acres with three sides bordering National Forest. The lodge greatroom, diningroom, kitchen and each and every of its many bedrooms boasts of beautiful mountain views and views of its own spring-fed ten-acre lake! Fish for trout from the lakeshore or from the rowboat provided. Sled or tube down the hills on the property. Watch elk, deer, turkeys, waterfowl and other abundant wildlife from the comfort of the lodge, from the deck, hot tub or while hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, fishing or picnicking in your own secluded paradise.
Endaba, meaning "gathering place", is true to its word with over 6500 square feet of living area, 8 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, a 30x50 foot great room, a commercial-sized kitchen, a game room with pool/ping pong table, a steam shower and an outdoor hottub. Main level has a woodburning fireplace and cozy basement library has a woodstove. Endaba Valley Retreat, which sleeps up to 25 people is the perfect place for a family reunion, a multi family vacation, corporate retreat or even a wedding!
All of this is only 12 easy miles (20 minutes) from the charming town of Pagosa Springs, where you can soak in their renowned hot springs, visit Pagosa's restaurants and shops, and go rafting or fishing in the nearby rivers, lakes and streams. Golf at Pagosa's 27-hole championship course is only 15 minutes from the lodge. Unlimited hiking and biking trails are on the property and also in the adjoining national forest. You can ski at Wolf Creek Ski area, which is 30 minutes from town, take day trips to Mesa Verde Indian ruins, ride the narrow gauge railroad from Durango to Silverton or enjoy watersports in the Navajo reservoir.
Bring your horses. Corral with watering facilities and adjoining 6-acre fenced pasture within steps of the lodge! Sleeping arrangement: three bedrooms with a king-sized bed (all upstairs); three bedrooms with a queen (one on main level, one upstairs and one in basement); one bedroom with two twins (upstairs); one bedroom with 6 twins (basement); TV room with two queen sofa sleepers (basement); loft with full-sized sofa sleeper (upstairs). Five sleeping areas have private bathrooms!
Sorry, but no snowmobiling, shooting or hunting on the property, nor may it be used as access to the forest for such purposes. Endaba is a wildlife refuge! (However, snowmobile trails are available off of nearby forest and county roads). |
