The condo has a spacious, 1568 square feet, living area, along with a 222 square foot balcony. Unit is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit, that sleeps 6 to 8 people, with Pull out sofa in living room. It is a Bay front, forth floor unit, within feet of Pool, Beach and Grill. There are panoramic views of Bay and Pool from balcony... you can also see the GULF. A Fully equipped, spacious kitchen, Washer and Dryer, High Speed Internet,and several Pools are just a few of the amenities available to you.
A 5000 square feet Pool and Kiddy Pool, with 700 feet Lazy River, 1 Pool heated with waterfall, and 3 Hot Tub Spa Pools, make for exciting water fun. In addition guests of our unit have use of privite Heron bay side pool. There is also a state of the art exercise room and covered parking garage, new 2006 and decorated for your comfort.Enjoy your view of the Choctawhatchee Bay, while the kids enjoy the lazy river. Four secluded miles of pristine beaches, from Destin West to Destin Pass Bridge, are only a few minutes away. It is only a 5-minute walk to Pier, great beachfront dining and shops at the Boardwalk, as well as the Gulfarium.
Every effort has been made, to make your stay at the beach, comfortable. Enjoy the views of the Emerald coast waters, white sand beaches, and the beautiful sunsets from your private balcony. We had a wonderful time and experience at this condo! It was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The balcony was relaxing and we were able to enjoy some nice dinners around the large table. The kids had a fantastic time at the lazy river both during the day and evening. What rounded out the beautiful condo was that the owners were easy to work with. Not only were they efficient, but it was apparent that they were personally interested in making our stay enjoyable. Many thanks to them....we will be back!

Great condo, well maintained and good location in the complex. Faces east so you don't get the hot afternoon sun on your patio. Owners are a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.

This property doesn't get any better if you have kids!!! First, the condo location is great! The only place that i know that has a crosswalk is SOOOO NICE! And safe! Second, the lazy river, all the pools are WONDERFUL! And to top things off, you can send the kids down to the pools safely and check on them out your balcony!!! In regards to the condo itself, it is everything in everyway described. WE LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!!!! My only tiny complaint......which is really scraping to find one, is the kitchen could use a few more cooking utensils, pots/pans, ect...... but nothing that isn't liveable!!! Owners wonderful to deal with. This will be our 2nd year back to this condo with friends, and will probably never go anywhere else; other than on the beach side when the kids get older. Our children love the pools more than the ocean!!!!

We love staying at the bayside condo at Destin West. It is just what our family needs when we come to Ft. Walton beach - comfortable, clean and close to the pool too!

Praises to the owners for this listing...we arrived late in the evening and it was easy access to the unit, everything was exactly as described in the listing, the decor was beautiful, comfortable and very inviting. Our family really enjoyed the lazy river and pools on site and equally enjoyed the easy access to the beach side. Something for everyone, from young children, teenagers and the adults. I would add that we were here in June 2010 and the beach was gorgeous, crystal clear waters and the sand was clean and "oil free", not as portrayed on tv. We definitely will come back again and have already suggested this unit to other family and friends.

We had a wonderful stay at your condo ! The furnishings/decor were so beautiful as well as spacious, comfortable and accommadating. We were a family of 4 adults and two children We had the best of both,the sunrise seen off the living room balcony and the sunset off the front door balcony. The lazy river was so relaxing and the skyway made it so convenient to go the beach and the oceanside pools. Thank you for all the provisions and we can't wait to visit again !!

Destin West is beautiful and perfect place! Your rental condo is the perfect three bedroom rental unit. Okaloosa Island is spectacular and Ft. Walton Beach is only two minutes away. We have enjoyed our stay here and love the amenities, mostly the lazt river. We look forward to coming back to and to make Destin West our new hot spot! Thanks for the best beachfront rental condo we’ve ever been too!

We arrived at the condo at 4:30 Saturday afternoon and went directly to our condo with no check in needed, we had the door code prior to arriving. The condo was immaculate, new with lots of space. The owners were very accomodating for us, we had 10 people and they rented their unit to us with no problems. Everyone enjoyed the lazy river and having all the other pools available (even the Ramada pool) was just great, it gave everyone space and a change of scenery. I loved the fact that we did not have fast food restaurants around us, having kids along that would have been all we would have heard about if they saw a McD's next door. Everyone was so friendly including the pool staff. Thank you again for a wonderful vacation.

This place is absolutely beautiful! We stayed in the property from March 7-14 and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The weather was beautiful and the condo has everything you need for a great trip. Everything is new and clean, including the pools and grounds. This condo is on the bay side of the resort, but the beach is a quick 5 minute walk away which wasn't a problem at all. Thanks again to Steve and the other owners for a wonderful stay in your home!
