  My family from various locations in the country had a reunion at "Atlantic House Remembered" on Folly Beach. The experience was excellent. The house was clean and in top shape with everything in working condition. All 10 of us could gather comfortably in the living area or on the back porch for the splendid ocean view. There were 5 comfortable bedrooms, each with an ocean view. Some of us played pool in the game room (also a great view), while the more enlightened ones used the room for yoga. The kitchen was well equipped, and the wireless connection kept up with a half dozen devices checking in with the office, surfing, etc. We enjoyed walking on the beach to the Edwin Taylor Pier, and into Folly Beach, where we particularly enjoyed Rita's Restaurant.

  We thouroughly enjoyed the week at Atlantic House Remembered. Perfect accomodations for two families and four High Schools Seniors from Michigan. Folly Beach is tons of fun with eclectic dining and shopping. Close drive to fabulous Charleston for ghost tours, carriage rides, market shopping and Fort Sumpter. All in all a great time. One downside was the Wifi failed to work, even after visiting Avocet (rental/management company) to get a corrected passwode, this a major inconvenience for the dads that needed to get work done while away. We'll be back, with our own wireless router next time!

  We recently stayed in your house in mid January and I have to say it was AWESOME! Your house is beautiful and the views are fantastic. There were 5 couples staying in the house and it was very well accommodating. The weather was great (a little chilly, but it didn't matter). The beach and rockers on your front porch were just as relaxing in the wintertime as I would imagine it would be in the summertime!...maybe even better. Definitely want to return! Thanks again!

  Our recent family trip to Folly Beach and the Atlantic House Remembered was wonderful. There were 9 of us and the house accomodated all of us perfectly. I've stayed in a number of VRBO rentals and this one was by far the best experience. I really appreciated the detailed information about household features that was placed around the house in logical places. The house was exactly how it was depicted and it is obviously well cared for. My only complaint is that we had to pack up and go home. Thanks again for allowing us to stay in the perfect beach house.

  Our family had a wonderful time staying at the Atlantic House Remembered! I grew up locally and have since moved away, but I love being a tourist in my hometown! This was a very comfortable home -- lots and lots of space, beautiful ocean views from every room, and many conveniences (free wi fi, 4 full bathrooms, a TV in every room, 2 coffee pots and every other kitchen item we needed, and lots of off street parking, etc.) that made for a comfortable space for our family. We especially enjoyed the rocking chairs on the porches and the game room on the 3rd floor. This really is a great place to spend a week. We will hopefully be back soon!

  Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

  Thank you for sharing your beautiful beach home with us. It was in excellent condition and tastefully decorated. We had a great time enjoying your home and the beautiful beach and ocean directly in front of us. It was so comfortable. This was the best place we have stayed at Folly Beach, and we hope we can come back. Our family really enjoyed the game room (teenagers and men). We also enjoyed the porches and rockers. It was wonderful to sit and watch the grandkids and others at the beach, and be out of the sun, and yet feel a part of their fun. We would certainly recommend this property to others.

  Thank you so much for allowing us to use your beach home for the weekend. This was the first time that my family came to visit and we were all able to stay in the same house. The house is immaculate and we enjoyed every minute there. This will be a vacation we will never forget! Thanks again!

  Really enjoyed this house. Have stayed at others this one is right at the top. Very user friendly with good instructions on how to work everything and where everything is. Also feels more like someone's home and not a vacaton rental as some do. The game room is a nice plus.The new restaurant Blu, in the Holiday Inn is a nice addition for a change of pace. Not cheap, but not stuffy, more upscale food, but it was excellent the one nght we went.

  We stayed with 6 of our friends and all of us thouroughly enjoyed our time there. Beautifully maintained and decorated. We were so comfortable. Enjoyed sitting on the deck after seeing the sunrise and using the game room at night and watching the moon come up as well. We all agreed that we would love to come back again!

  Our group of 6 friends from around the country got together for a reunion at this wonderful house on Folly Beach. This home met all of our needs. It was spacious, right on the beach, and convienent to everything. The amenities were all up-to-date, nothing was "out of order," it was immaculately clean, and the "Welcome" booklet was very informative. I myself rent out a home, and have very high "do everything for a quality guest experience" standards. This home passed my test, and exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this home to future potential guests.
