  I don't think you could get any closer to the parks without staying on property. We loved this condo - 4th floor, so no one above you stomping around. It was close to the pool (back entrance was convenient), and the pool was perfect for my 5 and 7 year olds - my 5 year old could stand up anywhere in the pool so we didn't have to worry as much! The condo had all needed amenities, was clean, and our kids loved the Mickey themed room! Only minor downside was comfort of the master bedroom mattress - a little soft for our taste, but you can't please everyone. The code we were given to the door was also not the right one, so we had some trouble with that, but it was resolved quickly. Overall, GREAT condo/location. We will definitely stay here again!

  This condo was just as we expected, big and beautiful! We loved everything about it, luxury furnishings and great TV’s. The beds were also very comfortable. We plan to come back again soon! We also loved the grounds and clubhouse and pool.

  Hi Ros, We have stayed in Windsor Hills 3 times and this condo was in a different league! The quality of furniture and having new appliances was a nice feature. We have never stayed in a condo with an water/ice dispenser before and this was a nice feature. We also loved the west facing balcony and being on the 4th floor gave you lovly sunsets. We enjoyed the resort as always and will be booking early to stay in this condo again. Thanks!

  "One of the best decisions of this trip was to have rented an apartment, instead of having stayed in hotels in Disney. As we would not be in a condition of the more expensive options, we would get the most basic of all. That meant a quarter (VERY) small for four of us for 14 days, no kitchen and no space for anything, not our bags. I thought a lot, exchanged ideas with others and in the site forum Mike, I received an indication of being in a "condo" or a "villa." I suggested Magical Vacations Home, and decided to contact them. You know what? Perfect!

  My husband and I stayed at this condo over New Year's weekend. We loved how convenient it was to the Disney parks and local restaurants. Liked the furnishings and use of long distance phone privileges. We didn't go to a Publix for food, but we did see a Super Target farther west on 192. One of the CONS to the unit I would say is the lack of sound proofing, especially in the ceiling. We could hear all the movements of the "elephants" upstairs. Sounded like they were rearranging the furniture every day! Another comment I would like to leave is the lack of Kleenex or paper towels provided. We have stayed at many VRBO condos over the years and these are always provided. And replenish your own toilet paper? Come on!

  Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

  Owner response: Hi Deb, Sorry to hear you had noisy neighbours, I just wish you let us know during your stay and we could have done something about it. I am surprised though as we have never had an issue like this before. All the properties conform to the latest building codes, including sound proofing (Windsor Hills was built in 2005) so they must have been really noisy and very inconsiderate neighbours. We did say in your Rental Agreement that there will be an intial supply of toilet tissue, soap etc, this is standard for self-catering homes, however if you had wanted a welcome pack we could have arranged that for you. I do hope this inconveniene and the elephants upstairs did not spoil your vacation too much and hope you can return soon. Kindest Regards, Ros Bateman

  This was our first experience staying off Disney property and although it was great having the extra room we were disappointed in the condo overall. The pillows were rock hard and one of the comforters in the children's room looked like it had not been laundered, there were drool marks on the inside of the comforter. We were also disappointed in the dishes, they did not appear to be clean so we spent part of our vacation cleaning dishes. Also if you are used to having a cool room to sleep in at night, this is not the complex for you. The temperature can't be set at less than 75 degrees for fear of the air conditioner freezing up. On the third floor, this is way to warm for us Northerners. The Windsor complex as a whole is impressive as you enter the well policed entrance and the pool, game room and exercise facility were nice. Location to the parks and airport is great, they were close and well described in the rental agreement. I shopped at the Super Target and appreciate the directions outlined in the book at the condo. This could be a very comfortable condo however it is in desperate need of new linens,maid service and the option to have a cool condo to return to after a warm day at the Parks. We will book other arrangements on our next stay in the Orlando area as we appreciate clean, comfortable accommodations.

  Owner response: In 4 years of renting our condo this is our first ever compaint and I'm just sorry you never contacted us or the Management Company during your stay to give us the opportunity to see for ourselves what you were not happy about. We live locally and could have called in anytme. We clearing state in our Booking Confirmation that if you are not happy with anything at all when you arrive, to contact us immediately. This would include the standard of the professional clean we pay for. The air-conditioner does go down lower than 75 degrees, its no different to any other condo at the Resort. I hope people reading this are not put off renting our condo and understand that we cant put right anything if we dont know about it.
