We offer the best family vacation value on the Hood Canal. Our houses were specifically chosen for larger groups, which allows you to divide the costs and enjoy a very affordable vacation. We book many family reunions and retreat groups, and the houses are very well suited for this. If you haven't been to Hood Canal, you are in for a wonderful treat!

The floor plan is open and spacious, and the view spans the entire front of the house. The kitchen is very large, and has bar seating for four, and the dining room has a very large table for a special holiday meal.
Gather some oysters from the beach, and gather the family 'round the table. The five bedrooms provide comfortable sleeping, and all bedrooms have a view across the Hood Canal to the Olympic Mountains.
Highlights of your experience here will be the commanding view of the Hood Canal and Olympic Mountains, from the windows that span the entire front of the house, lower and upper stories. All bedrooms have the same 180 degree view of the sunsets, seals, and water. The property has 150 feet of waterfront, pebble beach, and furnished waterside deck. The deck leads to the long dock, where you can fish, relax, and launch our row boat and enjoy a peaceful row.
We now have kayaks available on site at very reasonable rates. We have a double sit-on-top style kayak that is very stable, and a single sit-inside style. Just mention at the time of your booking to reserve.
If you bring your boat, it is an easy launch at Twanoh State Park, and it takes just a few minutes to motor to our dock. Our end of the canal is very popular for water sports because Hood Canal has the warmest salt water in all of Puget Sound, reaching the mid to upper 70’s at the peak of the season.
SeaFaire has an interesting historical connection, and was very well known. The original owners operated a restaurant in the 60’s called "Seafare", and this was a popular destination with locals and visitors alike. Served fresh from the property’s own abundant beach were succulent oysters, manila clams, and Dungeness crab. These succulents from the sea will be yours to enjoy fresh during your stay.
Many of the restaurants’ desserts were prepared in the house’s kitchen, which is indeed commercial size. The 40" stove has two ovens, and the countertops stretch on and on, with a six foot butcher block for pie making that the restaurant was famous for. There will be plenty of room for gourmet cooking; this kitchen is an inspiration to your creativity.
The home is furnished in a sophisticated, modern artistic style, with color, art glass, leather furniture, and original modern paintings. The first floor is spacious and open, with the kitchen, dining room, and living rooms flowing comfortably together. The living room has a fireplace, oak mantle, and floor to ceiling stone. The dining room has a 12 foot table with seating for 10-13 people. The kitchen has bar seating for four, and it is easy to gather and relax with room for all.
The home is completely furnished, and sleeps 11 in beds, that are actual bedrooms, not lofts or pull out beds. Additional occupants can be accommodated, up to 14, with use of the sleeper sofa. The upper story of the house has four bedrooms and one bath, and the lower story has one bedroom with a king four-poster bed and bath on this floor.
The along the entire front of the house is a deck, with covered eating area complete with a gas grill and outdoor table. The door off the kitchen conveniently opens onto this space, and it has a commanding view of the Hood Canal and Olympic mountains rain or shine.
The property has 150 feet of waterfront, with its own private dock, beach fire pit, and waterfront deck. The waterfront deck is furnished with lounge chairs and a picnic table, and is a great place for seal, eagle, and heron watching. It's fun to watch neighbors come and go from seaplanes, docked at their mooring buoys. At high tide you can also throw your line in the water, and try your luck at fishing, all from the comfort of your deck chair. The beach feels like a private park, and has no neighbors on one side, and infrequent vacationers on the other.
The beach can become the center of your vacation enjoyment, providing all the fun you would expect of such a wonderful location. Sunbathing, playing in the water, jet skis, tube rides, gathering oysters, clams, and crabs, beachside feasts, and beautiful sunsets all await you at "SeaFaire".

-Private dock. Bring your boat, water skis, jet skis, dive gear, water tubes, and fishing poles.
-Private 150 foot beach. Sunbathe on the landing’s lounge chairs, watch the kids delight at finding small beach creatures at low tide. Play in the round beach pebbles, and splash at the water’s edge. Float peacefully in your inflatable chair. Swim, snorkel and dive. Please note: The beach is across the road from the house.
-Stay at a site of South Shore history, "SeaFaire" at the warm end of the canal.
-Expansive 180 degree view, of the Hood Canal and Olympic Mountains.
-All the clams, mussels, oysters and crabs you can eat, fresh from the water, and prepared in the spacious kitchen.
