For the young at heart or the real McCoy's their are several fun activities near as well, nordic skiing, running, hiking, mountain biking, backpacking, skating, and of course one block away at the Old Town Hall building is the FREE shuttle service that takes you to Mt. Crested Butte for Downhill skiing/snowboarding and all the Black Diamond Routes you can handle.
In the house, 21 Sopris, the spacious living room includes a beautiful piano, television with DirectTV, DVD player, stereo, an array of music and literature. Get comfy with the gas fireplace that you don't need to cut wood for, along with plush comfortable furnishings inviting you to ease into a relaxing evening indoors or you can walk right down Elk Avenue to enjoy the restaurants and shops. The kitchen has every modern appliance you need to prepare a five star meal, up to and including your bowl of cereal and cup of coffee. Master bedroom has king size bed with sitting area that quickly converts into additional sleeping area, adjacent to the master bedroom is the sauna and master bath with jacuzzi. Second bedroom has king size bed and 3rd bedroom has 2 twin size beds. Second bath has shower/tub and single sink. Sofas up stairs also can accommodate for sleeping. If you need to stay in contact with the outside world , which is your choice, telephone, WIFI internet and as well pen and paper are available.

- 21 Sopris Avenue is located at the very west end of Sopris Avenue against a hill its quiet and quaint. The house has a hot tub and gas grill outside. one block from the downtown area, full of shopping and local restaurants and night clubs, as well for the young at heart, free shuttle to Mt. Crested Butte, Nordic Skiing, Hiking, Running, Mountain Biking Trails, and Frisbee Golf. Pretty much at the end of town but still in town and again all a block away!

We have been coming here for 21 years, and when the time came we asked the kids where you you like to be best. They answered Crested Butte Colorado, so we choose a place that was full of family memories
The Unique Benefits at this House
I think that the best part of 21 Sopris is that it is on the edge of town (West End) and yet it is one block away from the main street Elk Avenue. Coal Creek is right across the street and one can hear the creek rushing by...........wild flowers abound.....and in winter.............just beautiful views of all of the mountains. This can all be enjoyed from the hot tub...........

David and Liska Blodgett live in Vienna Austria. They enjoy the mountains in Austria as well as Colorado. In Colorado they enjoy the summer the most. The whole family with the 4 kids probably like winter the best..........all it all, it is beautiful anytime of year.................David Blodgett is a former judge, and Liska Blodgett does commercial real estate in Vienna, Austria. Their 2 children work in New York City, Raleigh North Carolina. The other 2 children study at Skimore University, and Willamette University. All in all they have fun everywhere.
