Spend the cold winter months at South Padre Island Texas in your own rented condo unit. South Texas climate is comfortable winter or summer. The Dolphin Condo unit is equipped with an outside balcony with each private bedroom. Each of the two bedrooms has a queen-sized bed and private bath along with a closet. Between the two bedrooms is a "loft" area which contains two twin beds. All these are upstairs.
Downstairs the kitchen is fully furnished with a dining table which seats six and two chairs at the kitchen bar. There is a 1/2 bath downstairs along with washer/dryer.
Backyard commons area to the Dolphin Condo complex has swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Two designated parking areas per unit are afforded. Grocery store and Island Clinic 1/2-1 block away. The beach of South Padre, which is the most beautiful beach in Texas, and what SPI is noted for, is directly across Gulf Blvd. from the Dolphin Condo complex.
Other activities available are: para-sailing, sail-boarding, dolphin watching, the south Texas version of the nationally famous Schlitterbahn Water Park, and beautifully designed and challenging South Padre Island Golf Club. A short drive nearby lands one at the 45,000 acre Laguna National Wildlife Refuge for birdwatching and animal observance. Matamoros, Mexico is only a short 35 minutes away for shopping, sightseeing, and also medicine purchases.
**Please NOTE. Dolphin Condo associational rules absolutely prevent renting to Spring Break participants, i.e. students unless there is parental accompaniment with the students.**

3 of us stayed here in November, excellent value and accomadations. Very close to everything, the beach, dining etc. Very clean, lots of room, all the extra's of home. Owner was very attentive in responses and gave us lots of info regarding making the best of our trip. Would recommend for singles traveling together, couples or families. Very quiet with designated parking that was great. Nice pool and hottub.

The Dolphin condos are the best place to stay on South Padre Island! Dennis and Becky have a lovely unit that is well kept and super clean. It has all the conveinences of home from a coffee pot to dishes and a large grill outside. They were super accomodating with our check in and check out times as well. We really enjoyed our stay and will be sure to refer their place to anyone who wants nice family time on the island. Thanks again Dennis!

We stayed here for Spring Break and it was great! It is a nice family place and even with it being spring break, there weren't a lot of college kids around. The condo is very clean and has all of necessities. It is very close to the beach and the pool and hot tub were great also. It is also in the perfect location- walking distance to the only grocery store on the island. If we come back to South Padre, we would definately stay there again.

Our family all enjoyed the 3 nights we spent at this condo. It's definitely the place for all ages. The pictures don't even start to show how nice this property is. Downstairs is spacious, clean and the kitchen is immaculate. The washer/dryer was great! Upstairs, both bedrooms have a balcony to take in the Ocean air and private baths. The loft area was tremendous for our kids. The couryard out the back door is private, with lush grass, and the pool and jacuzzi were sparkling. Our 2 year old grandson was safe to play. The beach is simply across the street. This is the place for all ages (all of us, from 75 to 2yrs old were pleased, including my two college-age kids).

My wife, our three young children I spent several nights in this unit over the Memorial Day weekend and absolutely LOVED it! Very clean, spacious and perfectly situated close to the beach, grocery store, variety shops and restaurants on South Padre Island. We also enjoyed the kitchen and outdoor grill, so that we didn't have to eat out for every meal. The weather was beautiful and we couldn't have asked for a better experience in South Texas. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your condo. I will recommend you to all of my friends and family.
