Despite the negative previous review and procastination we decided to stayed at Mrs. Benish rental property and have no regrets in staying in her property. I was treated like a VIP upon arrival and departure. The house is immucalate clean, very organized and in such an excellent location with easy access to shopping areas and convenience stores and major food chains in others words is that right place to be. I am satisfied with my wife and kids stayed that we have decided to come back to San Antonio and rent this property again. I just want to say Thank you Violet for such warm hospitality and making my family stayed wonderful.

Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

No Hot Water!

To be fair, the condition of the house was acceptable and clean upon arrival. My mother found the rental and my family and I stayed in this house for a week while visiting nearby relatives. Our first night, we realized that only 1 person could take a hot shower before the water ran out. Keep in mind that 8 of us (including my 82 year old grandmother and myself, who is 20 weeks pregnant) were in our group. The hot water would not recover or regenerate for approximately 12 hours for another shower. We contacted the owner, Alicia a.k.a. Violeta, immediately and informed her of this. She sent a plumber out the next day who informed her she needed a much larger water heater for the size of the house. He was put in contact with a realtor named "Bob" who promptly cursed at him and ran him off the property, leaving us with no hot water and/or communication with the owner for a second night. The owner never contacted us and we were left contacting her EVERY time. The owner arrived late Monday night with another plumber who said he attempted to fix the problem that night and would replace the water heater the next day if necessary. The owner continued to hug us all and give us reassurance that everything would be okay (what I realize now was all a big show). The hot water failed to work again the next day (despite one shower) and we were left with no contact from the owner or the realtor on Tuesday and Wednesday. We were told that Lowes would arrive to replace the water heater on Thursday and were again given the run around by "Bob" and Alicia when they failed to arrive. When contacted, "Bob" even had the nerve to say that cold showers are good for pregnant women and was not compassionate to our situation in the least. I cannot convey to you how frustrating and disheartening this entire situation was. Alicia and "Bob" ruined a portion of our family vacation that I can never get back. I recommend avoiding this house and renting elsewhere that values the renters' pertinent needs. Hot water is not a want but a basic human need. We payed for the entire rental week up front in cash and not once was a compensation offered by Alicia/Violeta, even when suggested. She continued to reply "I gave you fair price"....Well that price included hot water! There are many wonderful places in San Antonio to rent. Avoid this rental property and move on with your search!!

Me and my two Army buddies and all our families stayed at this wonderful house. The wives and kids loved the house and it was more than big enough for all of us! We felt right at home and the owner was terrific! Originally I though it was a bit far from Fiesta Texas and downtown but I was wrong. 15-20 minute drive and we were there. I would HIGHLY recommend this house to anyone with a large group. Next time we are in San Antonio I hope this property is available. Thank you owner!

San Antionio Graduation

We rented this house for our son graduation from Lackland Air Force. At first I thought the 30 minute drive to the base would be a bit much, but for what we got I would have traveled a little longer. This house is exceptional, they have everything in this house to make you feel as if you are in your own home. Stainless steel appliance throughout the house, computer, television in all the rooms. Violeta and her husband Mike was there to meet us and explain to us how everything in the house worked. We were so busy getting up at the crack of dawn for the events of the graduation we did not get to spend as much time as we would have liked to at the house,since we were so tired when we got in every night. Oh and let me tell you about the beds, some of the best sleeping mattressess you will ever sleep on. I really cannot say enough good things about this house, I have rented homes all over and this is by far the best one yet. Exceptionally clean Kudos to the house cleaner. The house was all decorated for Christmas like we were at thome. Thanks Violeta and Mike for making our stay in San Antonio great.

Comfortable and relaxing vacation

We rented this house for the July 4th weekend. Our entire party consisted of 5 adults and 2 kids. This was such a wonderful home so we really enjoyed our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very spacious. The kitchen and laundry room have wonderful stainless appliances and contained everything we needed. The description on VRBO and photos really gave a true description of everything. There were no surprises. The home was very clean and immaculate. The home owner was very wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend this home.

Excellent Vacation Rental for Large Family

My sister and I recently rented this beautiful home and it was even nicer than we expected. We had 6 kids with us, ages 14, 14, 11, 11, 4, and 19 mo., so as you can imagine, we were hoping for a house where we could really spread out and everyone could find their own space. This house fit the bill! The bedrooms were comfortable and nicely sized, and the master suite was huge. My sister and I took the master and each shared one of the rooms in the suite with the little ones. We had PLENTY of space for the travel crib and to each have some privacy. The bathroom is big and room enough to share and the closet was SO large, one of our 14 yr. olds decided that she would sleep inside of it on one of the queen sized air mattresses. Not only did she have PLENTY of room, her air mattress was one of the most comfortable I have ever laid on. She had privacy and comfort, and her cousins were jealous of her little space! :-) We had 3 teen and "tween" boys with us, so the game room upstairs was perfect for them as well. They brought their X-box and hooked it up to the huge TV with surround sound, and at night when we got home, they disappeared into gamers heaven (and after a day full of family "togetherness" with 6 kids, that was a welcome respite!) The computer/office downstairs was a blessing too because we were able to print out directions, check the forecast, and update our facebook accounts with pictures from our fun vacation. I can't say enough good things about this house and our experience here. Alicia was wonderful. She is very professional and accommodating, and it was a great experience all around. We will definitely be contacting her about staying again next year!!

This house is everything you see in the pictures and more. Very clean and spacious. Most of the time we were lazy and didnt even want to leave. Violeta has great communication skill, any questions i had she always responded in a timely manner whether it was on the phone or email. thank you very much for every and i'll definitely be staying here next time im in san antonio!!!! =)

WOW! There's so much great things to say about this home and Violet. The home was immaculately clean and very large. There was so much room. The masterbedroom and masterbath were very large. The kitchen was well equipped. They attended to our needs quickly. It was such a pleasure to deal Violet. Easy access to groceries and interstate access. Thank you Violet! We'll definitely stay there again.

My family and I recently stayed a week in this home and it was a wonderful experience. The home is very clean and well maintained. It was as comfortable as a second home. Wonderful master suite and bath. Nice large kitchen which we enjoyed fixing breakfast each morning. We regretted not making time to grill on the huge gas grill. Mike and Violita were very kind and even met us very early in morning on our arrival to let us in to the house after we had driven all through the night. We would highly recommend the house to other travelers and if we are ever in San Antonio again would love to stay in the home again. We were very comfortable our entire stay and felt very safe in the home as well.

This was an excellent experience. Violeta was so helpful,generous and thoughtful. We were traveling with friends and we all agreed the 4 days we spent there were superior! The location is very convenient to Rolling Oaks Mall where the shopping is exceptional,and conveniently close to Randolph Air Force Base.I look forward to staying there again.And many thanks and wishes!!

Mike we would like to say thany you for everything. The home was everything the site said it was and more. The big surprise was the Christmas all decorated really making it feel like Christmas. Your prompt attention to our every need something as small as you stopping what you where doing to bring an iron andironing board. I do believe you have the hotel room service beat. Thanks again for such a wonderful stay in your very large and roomy house.

This Corporation would just like to take the time to Thank You So Much. Our stay last month made our week and won us a new contract with the people we meet there.
