  • This condo is very cozy and close to all Keystone has to offer. We rented this condo from the owner March 23-28, 2008. There were 2 adults and 2 teens staying and we had plenty of room. The kitchen is nice and is well equiped for cooking. The sleeper sofa is surprisingly comfortable and the owner provides plenty of pillows and blankets. The hot tubs and heated pool are very close -- just down the elevator and down the hall. It is very nice after a long day skiing. The only setback was that there are only 2 washers/dryers in the entire building so washing clothes was a bit tricky. Simply bring enough clothes so that you only have to wash once and you'd be fine. The River Run village is very neat. There are a few souvenir shops, a Starbucks, a grocery/liquor store and several restaurants. We really were dissapointed in the quality of Wolf Rock but Pizza on the Run had great pizza. We didn't try any others as we cooked for ourselves most nights. The little grocery store is on the first floor of the Arapahoe lodge and offers a variety of goodies from fresh baked cookies to wine, beer, snacks, lunch foods, etc. We stopped in there daily. The ski lifts are very close -- about a 3 minute walk through the village. There are lockers very near the gondola so we wore our comfortable boots/shoes down and carried our ski boots/skis/poles. The locker cost $2 and we fit 4 pair of shoes/boots in it. This sure beats wearing your uncomfortable ski boots. There is also an overnight ski check at the base of the gondola for $5 a night. However, the condo offers free ski lockers on the 1st floor of the building. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone seeking a quiet condo within a great ski village. We recommend also skiing at Breckenridge which is a short (20-30 min) drive away. Peak 9 is awesome for beginners and intermediate advanced skiiers. Beaver Run Resort has public lockers, close in parking ($15 fee), a restaurant, and easy access to many ski runs. Please feel free to email me for any information I might offer.
