The house is very clean, well appointed and an excellent value since there is no cleaning fee. However, we're a little old for hard futon mattresses, so I'm afraid we won't be renting this place again. Despite the name of the house, there is no lake nearby.

From guest log: Thank you for making your cottage available to us. The accommodations are comfortable and are ideal for two couples. The location is ideal! We walked into town for breakfast and dinner. All other points are an easy drive away. The gas fireplace and modern appliances are wonderful choices. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

From guest logbook: Many thanks for a nice visit in snowy Bend on the trails at Meissner and Mt. Bachelor. We all hail from Putney, Vermont and were somewhat stunned by the depth of the snow and the amount that often fell from the sky. The cottage was ideal with very comfortable beds for all our daily naps. We hope to return at some point for some mountain biking in the summer and fall.

Thank-you for a wonderful Bend experience. The craftman style house was lovely and a short walk to downtown and the river. Our entire family enjoyed the neighbors and their children and would love to visit again. Keep up the live music, it's great!

This is a gorgeous cottage spacious enough for 6 if you're okay with sharing 2 to a bed. It is very convenient to downtown Bend and about a 30min walk to the Old Mill district for summertime concerts. I definitely plan to stay at the Westlake Cottage again. Thank you Barbara and Eric for creating such a cozy, homey cottage so close to town.

Your special "touches" to feel like our own home enhanced this most special weekend that was provided as our give from our daughter and her spouse. We were sad to have our wonderful stay come to an end - we will highly recommend Westlake to our friends visiting the "other" coast.
