  We had a fantastic stay in this cozy flat and will definitely return and recommend it to others. The owners were very communicative and accommodating of our late arrival, the apartment was clean and well-maintained, and having a washer and dryer right there was awesome--as was having a grocery nearby so we didn't have to eat out every meal. I lived in NYC for a number of years, so the size of the apartment didn't come as a surprise to me, though my spoiled suburban-raised children were a little taken back at first! (My favorite memory is of watching them all try to get ready in the same tiny bathroom. We laughed A LOT being on top of each other all the time.) My husband and I stayed in one room, the three girls (14, 10, and 8) were in the second bedroom (two in the bed, one in the pull-out chair) and our son (10) was on the couch. Yes, it was tight for six (probably perfect for four), but we felt right at home and had everything we needed, from towels to toaster. We absolutely loved the private, quiet patio and the playground next door! Both were great for unwinding after pounding the pavement each day. Really, I can't say enough. The accommodation was perfect for our family.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, tourists without a car.

  We arrived in New York after travelling for 2 days to find we couldn't get in,a small communication break down that was fixed,once in the apartment it was a bit different to the pictures on the Internet,duvets that looked luxurious had been replaced so didn't look so nice and Internet pictures did make it look a bit bigger,maybe to much big furniture. Once settled in it worked well for us(4 adults)wouldn't like to have more than that,we found things missing eg toaster,bread board,but on emailing Eleonora these were replaced quickly,so no problems with that,the only other thing was the blinds did not open it would have been nice to have some natural light in during the day. This apartment is set back from the road so it makes it a little better for the New York noise,it was in a great location we walked back from Time Square and the Empire State buliding and it as an easy walk as it is flat. We traveled around on the hop on hop off buses and that was a great was to see more,also taxes are a good price and easy to get,took in a Broardway show and it was fantastic. We also took a tour to Niagara Falls for 2 days and it was excellent well worth it. We would recommend this apartment to others for the location and the comfort of those beds,they were great they lived up to the write up on them,great nights sleep had by all.

  We received a very detailed note prior to checking in which seemed to set the bar very high in terms of expectations for our stay.... So when I see this I expect something approaching perfection..... Which was far from the reality.... Instead my wife and her elderly mother waited outside for 35 mins in the rain for the greeter, the place was quite dirty on arrival, there was no blind on one of the windows, the coffee machine still had the last batch sitting in it, the heating didn't work on one of the nights and there was no kettle. It is important to understand that the liveability of this apartment changes dramatically between summer and winter. We stayed in this apartment in January and found it oppressively small and over furnished. It is definitely not suitable for any more than 4 if staying in the winter months when you do not have access to the outdoor deck area.

  We really appreciated the service that was given by Jitu who met us at the unit. The unit wasn't ready for us until 2pm and we got in at 7am. He was very kind enough to hold our luggage in his van until it was ready. That saved us about $60 to store our luggage. He also dropped us off at the Macy's mall area instead of us catching a taxi. He was absolutely awesome and very accommodating. The person who I dealt with via email was very prompt in her response and was easy to work with. The unit is located in a very convenient area one street away from the subway. The bed was also comfortable. I highly recommend this unit to any one traveling with a group 4-6 people. Thank you!

  This apartment is in a perfect location near to all amenities - good local restaurants and bars on Park Avenue and beyond , easy walk to Empire State and Grand Central as well as the main subway line downtown as well as up to the Yankee stadium. Apartment is well appointed with a private patio in central manhattan! We also found the management very attentive and always contactable.

  The unit was in a nice, quiet neighborhood that you felt comfortable walking around in even late at night. It was clean, had modern amenities & beds were super comfortable. The location was great, within walking distance to restaraunts, grocery store, subway. I didn't find parking close by as others stated, but found a parking garage just around the corner on the next block which was perfect since there really is no need to drive while you are in the city and I didn't have to leave the car parked outside the city and try to get a taxi in which was a huge plus. We had 6 in our party and there was enough room for at least 8 (tightly as it was a small unit, but enough room to sleep 8). We'd definitely recommend this unit.

  This property was lovely for our stay in NY! It is just as described - layout, location, safe/secure, etc. The owner & manager were very accomodating - promptly responded to questions before our stay, were available for our delayed arrival (two of my nieces arrived late at night, and on their own!), and acted quickly when we asked about A/C. I would absolutely recommend the property to others. We were five adult women, all related, so we didn't mind sharing space, beds, and bathroom. We had a wonderful vacation! Thank you!

  We LOVED this place. The location was perfect and everyone in the neighborhood was so friendly. We made friends with Steve the bartender on the corner and even had him work our event we had in town. The firemen across the street were awesome as well. Totally let us take photos in the trucks and dressed us up in their full get ups. Was absolutely hilarious!! We found the rental so spacious, especially for NYC. Everything was super clean and all the upgrades in the kitchen/bathroom etc made us feel like we were in a 5 star hotel. Definitely staying here every NYC from now on!! Thanks for everything! :)

  Although this apartment was quite small, it was in a great location. I would recommend not renting if you had more then 6 people in your party. We felt safe walking around at all hours and was close to bars and restaurants. Within blocks you could find a park and supermarket. We loved our time in New York City, we will be back.

  Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers) stayed here for 6 nights. We loved it and would happily return. The Manager Abi was extremely helpful and met us at 11pm after we had missed a flight. Abi was also very efficient with answering all email questions we had prior to arriving. He also helped us arrange transport from the airport as we had so much luggage. The apartment was all we needed; clean, magnificent beds ( 2x Q memory foam) and another pull out couch/bed my son slept on. Yes it was tiny (would be tricky with more than 4 people) and with our big suitcases & skis there was little room to move but who stays home in Manhattan? The kitchen was well stocked and everything we needed from fresh coffee beans to washing machine liquid to shampoo and even body moisturiser was provided. The free wireless internet was greatly appreciated. The apartment itself is opposite a fire station which we thought would be a worry but it was amazingly quiet and was of no concern at all. This is because it is out the back of the building and very protected from the road. There is no table and only one chair in this apartment, but we did not find it a problem. The photos show table and chairs in the outdoor private courtyard. However when we stayed April 2012 they were packed away for the cold weather. This was a real shame because the courtyard would have been fantastic to use as another 'room' as it was very private. The position of this apartment may not be in the coolest area but it felt safe and ideally located for exploring the whole of Manhattan since it is in the 'middle' of the island.The subway was an easy 5-7 minute walk and taxis were outside the door. There is also a supermarket 30 seconds away. We booked this from Australia via the internet and we were very nervous as we had heard about many apartment scams. However these guys came up trumps and provided for us a great holiday. Thank you!
