In the morning shadow of the legendary Nou Nou mountain, amidst rainbows and waterfalls in the pastoral Wailua Valley, this private country home offers the feel of old Hawaii. It's central location is perfect for exploring the spectacular garden isle of Kaua'i.

Within a 10 minute drive you can hit the beach, catch a wave, kayak a tropical river, hike the rainforest, climb a mountain, explore historic sites, water ski, hit a golf ball, bird watch, play tennis, horseback ride, mountain bike....whew! Or just relax and sleep late and awake to a symphony of birds in a lush tropical setting at the Sleeping Giant Cottage.

This one bedroom cottage is spacious and private with three large lanais (porches), and is surrounded by a beautiful lush yard with a wonderful variety of tropical fruits and flowers. It is not connected to any other home and is not part of a compound - for those who seek ultimate privacy and comfort, this is the perfect choice. In fact, we specialize in longer stays.
