Welcome to our home! This is our home in the winter months, where we come to escape the cold of Briritish Columbia and be near our grandchildren.
Our large one-bedroom condominium is located steps away from well known East Beach. When we are in town, we often start and end our days with time on the beach.
Beautiful, big windows in spacious living room with ocean views. Our eclectic art collection includes native pieces from the Pacific Northwest and from family roots in Northern Italy. The living room is equipped with a flat screen TV, Direct TV, and DVD player as well as WIFI throughout our home.
Walk out onto your own private deck, to relax in the sun, bbq on the small hibachi grill, or enjoy a sunset dinner.
For those that need a little extra room - an additional queen sized murphy bed in located in the spare living area. Bedroom and murphy bed are separated by two doors, giving plenty of privacy.
The bathroom has a tub/shower combination.
We are a family who likes to cook (and eat!), so you can expect to find almost all amenities in our fully stocked kitchen.

Year Purchased: 1970
About the owner: We, the Unterthiner family, have owned this property since the early 70's. Over the years, all of us have lived in one of the units in this 8-unit apartment building at one time or another. We are blessed with a property in beautiful British Colombia that we also reside at part of the year and open up our homes to fellow traveler's to keep the warmth and spirit of our home alive when we are away.
Why the Owner Chose East Beach: East Beach has been home and second home to our family for close to 40 years. Little has changed over the years - including our tenants/neighbors in the building - which is a comfort when coming home.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo: The charm and funk of our old, beloved, well-lived in building is easy to fall in love with. The fact that we all have lived here, truly makes it our home of almost 40 years.
