What a beautiful home you have! There was everything anyone would need. The beds were so comfy and great bath towels! We hated to leave. St. Simons s a wonderful destination and we loved every minute of our stay. Thank you so much for sharing your home. I would love to bring my family sometime. I haven't stopped talking about our visit! The owners were most helpful.

Fantastic beach house

My family stayed at this property for spring break 2012. We could not have been happier with its location or the amenities it provided. Our toddler especially enjoyed riding to the beach in the red wagon. As a runner, I liked that the house provided several different course options for my morning runs. It's also close to several restaurants, a grocery store, and a natural food store. The layout of the house is great for traveling with older children, teens, or adult couples. The secondary sitting area was a nice alternative gathering space for those in our group who didn't want to watch TV in the front room. The master bed and bath are luxurious and very spacious. The secondary bedrooms are smaller, but still comfortable. We didn't spend as much time on the deck as we wanted to, but we're hoping to visit again so we can rectify that oversight.

What a fabulous Labor Day weekend! East Beach is perfection from the neighborhood to the beautiful beach! It was a major holiday weekend, and you would have never known it! The beach is pristine, and you are one of only a few families on the beach! The house was perfect for two families with children, and there is the most amazing tree that comes up from the deck. We found ourselves sitting under the tree every night listening to the cicadas, wishing we had rented the house for more than a weekend!

Wonderful Vacation Home

The pictures do not do this vacation home justice. The home alone was a vacation in itself. It was a home away from home with all of the appliances, amenties and supplies you would need. Literally a short walk to the beach; almost a private beach. Plenty of space to enjoy with the family. Close to everything, and there was even a bike service that delivered to the house. My only complaint was that my family and I had to leave when our time was up. We will be back!!!

Arbor Place was exactly as stated in the VRBO rental ad. After a long drive, we were thrilled to walk into a place that was everything we had hoped for. Within a few minutes, we were unloaded, sipping on a cool drink and on our way to a short walk to the beach! The dolphins were playing and the star fish were abundant. East Beach is so beautiful it's difficult to leave for dinner. Even though we enjoyed many of the eating places on St Simon's, next time we visit, we'll take advantage of the great kitchen and outside grill. This house provides privacy for all and yet there are several gathering places for everyone. We'll definately be back again! This place is great for everyone of every age.

Great place to stay in St Simons! Just a walk from the beach and a short drive to the action on Mallary street. Beautiful master bedroom and plenty of room for outdoor dining. Would stay here again for sure. Owners very accommodating and easy to work with. The Arbor cottage gets two thumbs up!

My family had the pleasure of staying at the Arbor Cottage for a long weekend over Easter and we had an incredible time on our first trip to St. Simons. We loved everything about the house and it more than lived up to all the great reviews we read and pictures that are on the site. The location is excellent - we loved the neighborhood and the proximity to the beach was great. The house is also very kid-friendly and our children loved the bunk beds! The owners were great to deal with and very friendly. We will definitely be back to stay at Arbor Cottage soon!

This property is so much better than what the owner has described. Three couples spent a long weekend here, April 8,9,10,11. Privacy for all three couples but two great rooms for socializing. Great deck, great grill, landscape lighting, kitchen furnished excellent. Our son is the Pastor at Frederica Presbyterian on the island and we will definitely be back at this property thru out the year. The owners are so concerned about the renters having an excellent time. A special thanks to them

I was fortunate enough to stay at Arbor Cottage for 5 weeks. It was everything I'd hoped for and more. The huge tree on the front deck had a way of taking away all your stress and making outside pleasant no matter what type of weather you had. The kitchen was wonderful and contained more utensils and cooking necessities than I had ever had in other vacation rentals. The bedrooms are very inviting with beautiful decor and comfortable beds. The jacuzzi tub was great at the end of a hard day of work, play, or shopping. You're just a short walk away from the beach, and the entrance to the beach off 11th Street is a fantasy in itself...it's covered with vines and magically the beach appears before you. Just wonderful!!!! There are books there to read, games to play, and a TV in every bedroom and one in the den. You can even cook that juicy steak out on the grill (I found condiments like salt, pepper, garlic salt, etc. already there so there was no need to go out and buy those). The owner/caretaker is very accommodating and easy to reach. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip.

This was the perfect home for our winter vacation. The decor was simple but beautiful. It was generously equipped, clean, extremely comfortable and quiet. We had everything we needed for a very relaxing time. The beach, only a few steps away, was beautiful and quiet. When we were not on the beach or relaxing in the house, we were riding around the island on bicycle. The bicycle paths and house’s location made the whole island easily accessible. We will return and definitely recommend it to others!

I stayed at Arbor Cottage with several friends. The house was amazing, better than the photos and more than we could have asked for in a holiday rental. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances. We ate tons of delicious oranges and grapefruit from the trees in the backyard. The owners provided an information binder was full of local details which was very handy. The location was perfect because it was 5 minute walk to the beach so you were close enough to the action but far enough away so that it was quiet at the house. We rented bikes and rode all over the island. I definitely will book this house again when we return to St. Simons.

I was fortunate enough to stay in Arbor Cottage in January and February of 2010 and enjoyed every moment of my stay! The house is immaculate and in excellent condition. The property manager was an absolute doll and a pleasure to work with. I am an avid cook - one of the reasons I rented this particular house was for the kitchen - and I was NOT disappointed. It was well organized and lacked nothing. The living areas are great; the family room adjoining the kitchen has a huge television, and the other living room has a game table as well as a cozy sofa in front of a gas fireplace. I LOVED sitting by the fire in that room for afternoon reading. Possibly my favorite thing about the house... the master bed! All of the linens in the house were very nice and cozy, but the master bed was divine! The location is perfect - you are literally 3 or 4 houses off the beach - and it is a VERY easy walk. The owner was kind enough to leave a wagon out which I used to walk my daughter down to the beach. I have recommended this house to friends and hope to have the opportunity to stay here in the future!

From Our Home's Guest Book: "I was fortunate enough to have been able to stay in the Arbor Cottage for 2 months in 2006 and for another 3 months in 2007. I just love this place! It has everything that you could ever want, e.g. 50" HDTV in the living room, WiFi, jacuzzi tub in the master, oversized deck for throwing fabulous beach parties, a chef's kitchen, great location on East Beach, but my favorite amenity has to be the awesome windows in the master bedroom. I enjoyed waking up every morning to spectacular view of the sunrise eliminating the overgrown tree canopy and squirrels building their nest in those same trees. The level of detail that went into restoring, adding onto and furnishing the house must have been painstaking. The owners personally guaranteed that my stay would be a trouble free and enjoyable experience and that is exactly what they did. If there was ever any problem, they took care of it right away. If you are looking for a personal get away like me or if you want to bring your entire family along, you can not go wrong with selecting Arbor Cottage.
