Dear Shirley and Paul, I would to take this moment to let you know how much we enjoyed staying in your home. We enjoyed having our morning coffee and evening glass of wine looking out at the spectacular view of the lake. The home was immaculate and very spacious. I especially took notice on how each bed was made to perfection and every towel perfectly stacked:). The home is a very short distance to Crane's Mill Marina where we keep our boat. It is also conventiently located to a nearby grocery store. Although we didn't eat out much, it was good to see that there are several restarurants to chose from, especially pizza for the kids. Thank you for offering you home. We definitetly plan on returning very soon. Sincerely, Sugar Land

We recently stayed two nights and had a wonderful and relaxing time. The house was perfect for two couples as each bedroom has it's own private bathroom. The owners have made sure that everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay is provided. The house is cozy, quaint and spotlessly clean. The view and proximity to the lake cannot be beat and the deer showed up just as expected - they are so tame that several of them were eating out of our hands. This is a great location, you can easily spend a day visiting the Hill Country wineries, or an afternoon / evening in Greune for some leisurely shopping, dining and come evening make sure you check out Greune Hall for an authentic Texas honkeytonk and dance hall experience! I feel that I must mention that when we first turned off of the main road we were a little bit worried as you drive through a neighborhood that is fairy run down - however, the portion of the road where the house is located is fine and quiet and we felt quite safe. Don't let this put you off - I would definitely recommend this property and if ever in the area again I would not hesitate to return.

Loved the view from the wall of windows. Even in winter it was beautiful and ever changing from sun up to sun down. We really enjoyed feeding all the animals with corn provided. We had never had a deer eat out of our hands. Really liked the layout of the 2 bedroom two bath lake house rental as it let us be together for common functions such as cooking and eating with plenty of space but then when time to have our own time and sleeping and dressing you did not feel there even was another couple in the house! We would recommend this rental and the one next door!

If you are looking for a place for you and your family, look no more. This home was absolutely beautiful, the scenery was perfect and the deer were plentiful. The home had everything we needed. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and sunrises all from the comfort of the hot tub. I will be back to this property for many years to come. THANK YOU!!!

We could not have asked for a more perfect family vacation. We swam in the lake, got in the hot tub (a little), played UNO, chicken foot (a domino game) and the boys and dad played MOON (another domino game), fed the deer and of course just relaxed. The only thing we would do differently next time is we would purchase the food from our home town because the grocery stores are not cheap. The view and sunsets were AWESOME and we would come back. The owners of this house are SUPER nice!

Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven on earth with us. Sunsets were beautiful and enjoyed feeding the deer. One of the mom deers found a great hiding place for her new born fawn at the bottom of stairs to the lake. The amenities of the cabin were superb. We had a great time!

We had a great time staying at this property. The sunsets were amazing and we took pictures to prove it! The house had every amenity possible so we lacked for nothing during our stay. Not only did we enjoy the lake but we also enjoyed driving around the Texas hill country area and visiting the many small towns nearby. We're glad we discovered this awesome vacation place!

This lake house was amazingly clean and very welcoming. My family and freinds felt like it was a second home even. We enjoyed going to a concert in New Brunfels as well as going to Shliterbahn and the San Marcos Outlet Shops all with in 20-30 min. We enjoyed cooking burgers and hot dogs on the grill while getting a small camp fire going by the lake for some shmores(hope I spelled that right). We plan on going back at least once a year we absolutly loved this place. By the way it was the first time a deer had ever eatin from my hand .

Took my three 20-something kids, my nephew and his wife for the weekend getaway. The home was very clean with everything you need. Great views, we especially liked having music piped outside, as we spent a lot of time on the decks. We floated the river nearby and almost used a whole bag of corn feeding the deer. We had a great time and will definitely return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day stay at this lake house! The house is very clean, open and inviting. The house stands atop one of the hills over looking the lake. My family enjoyed the sun set views and feeding the almost tame deer that would meet us at the back door every morning and evening. We enjoyed steaks on the grill, dinner on the patio, and soaking in the hot tub. There are stores in close proximity to the house as well as Comal Park for the kids to enjoy swimming. The lake water was low by the house so we spent much of our time tubing on the Guadalupe and swimming in the Comal near Gruene. The only place to rent a boat/jet ski is on the North side of the lake, so be prepared to travel a few miles to rent.It was a Great getaway for the family and we will be sure to go back many times in the future.ThanksThe Carr’s

We had a great mid-week get away here. The owners called us to make sure we didn't have a question or need something. We used boat ramps #6, 7 and 8, and liked 8 best because I could see it from the deck to see if the guys were coming in soon for dinner! The children named the deer(according to their observed personality) that they fed outside the door. We'll be back next year!! Milree Z

This lake house is clean, comfortable, and inviting, with plenty of room for at least 8 people. The lake is beautiful and clear and offers so many fun activities, especially if you bring your boat! The views and sunsets are amazing and my kids loved feeding the deer every morning and every evening. This will definitely be an annual tradition for us and we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else!
